You think we're gonna go into the season with all these guys? Look at the last 3 years. BB wants competition in camp and the last 5-6 standing are gonna make the cut. Whether LaFell and or Britt make it or not, there's nothing else to it.

Did not realize LaFell posted a 6.81 3-cone drill time.

That has to be the first thing BB looks at when scouting WRs.

TJ Moe
Anthony Gonzalez
Kevin Kasper
Tiquan Underwood
Josh Boyce
Greg Salas
Julian Edelman
Deion Branch
Chad Jackson

all posted sub-6.75 times in the 3-cone.

Does seem like no other scouting is necessary at times.

LaFell was a ghost at Carolina, guy just vanished from games.

Theres the part where they killed us when we played them, regardless if we played horrible defense on that particular assignment or not. I hope they go after Cotchery with that said.

3yrs/$11m, according to Rapoport. We've got to be really tight against the cap now.

Sanders would have been another 5'10" WR. Needed more size

Especially considering Vince hasn't been cut or restructured yet and the Revis deal isn't announced yet and on the books.

Not a huge fan of the dude but there certainly is more hope with this signing then the stupid Michael Jenkins one from last season.

This is an odd signing. LaFell is essentially like Dobson from what I've seen. A big, WR who has some deep ability teamed with questionable hands.

Is this going to affect our Talib compensatory pick?

What is odd about it? Do people forget who our targets were lqst year in ghe playoffs?

Edelman, Collie, Vereen and Hooman.

Yeh this is a good move even if he is nothing more than average. But I think he is going to be better than average with Brady throwing to him.

The questionable hands are worrisome but having another big receiver who will be able to play behind Gronk, Edelman and Dobson should wonders for both sides of this deal.

If we add a legit backup TE I think this team will have big things in store for them this year.

He dropped a mere 7% of his passes from Cam Newton. I feel his "bad or unreliable" hands are being blown out of proportion. 7% is not a bad rate and think of the scheme that Carollina ran on offense. CM nearly ever threw slants to LaFell where he would excel the most. I like the signing because it gives us a low risk addition to the team that brings size and competition to the position.

Revis deal has been announced: He counts $7m against the cap.

I think we needed a big, outside WR and with money tied up in Edelman & Amendola, I don't think we could have aimed a lot higher.
