With the Patriots adding Revis and Browner, it's only natural to discuss.

1st, let me say that our goal as a football team shouldn't be to exclusively beat the Patriots, rather to beat all of our opponents.

However, as much as the Patriots look scary on paper, we're actually a team that is built to play them very well. Our weakness (passing) is their strength (defending the pass). Our strength (running) aligns well with their weakness (defending the run).

We all know about our front 7 and if we actually improve our pass defense, which I think will get better by default as Milliner advances into his 2nd year, we're really a team built to defeat the Patriots. Our defense has always played the Pats tough, and as long as we bring back Cro or sign DRC our secondary should improve. If we are truly committed to being a physical run-first team, we stack up pretty well with the Patriots.

All of the above...

Also, Rookie QB's best friend... Options. Not a star he has to "try" and keep involved. See Sanchez trying to feed Holmes...

Give me 5 guys on every snap that are low A high B level players over 1 A+ and 4 C's...

I dont think we can win the division but I think we can make the playoffs

Pats, Broncos and Colts are locks

Bengals/Steelers/Ravens one of them take the north

Chargers IMO take 1 WC spot

Jets/Titans/2 remaining AFCN teams battle for last WC spot

I think the division winners are:
Pats, Broncos, Colts, and Bengals

Chargers, Jets, Chiefs will be fighting for those WC spots. I really don't think the Ravens or Steelers are going to be very good this year and with the Titans losing CJ plus Locker is always hurt I don't see them as a threat either.

I think PIT bounces back. They'll be in the mix. Not sure sure about BAL though. Gonna be tough to make the playoffs, I have us just missing out.

If we can get a #2 WR to show up and Decent play from the QB position, I think we can win the division this year.

Pats are pretty stacked, though. Especially if Gronk can stay healthy.

Honestly I think the pats won't be that great this year. Not saying we're better, just saying I think they're a 9-7 type team not 12-4. I think their secondary is highly overrated right now. Revis who I haven't been high on the last 3yrs I think is overrated as well as a suspended browner.

Brady declined last season and I expect him to continue to do so.

Stop

We should split with them IMO but they're a 12 win team

They are absolutely a 12 win team. Their entire defense was hurt last year and now they add Revis and Browner. Their team did not get worse.
