MJD might be interested in finishing his career back home. What was MJD like for you guys this past season? Does he have anything left in the tank? What does he currently excel at? Any and all information on the guy would be appreciated. God knows McFadden is going to get hurt, and Murray is very unproven at this point in time. We need another RB badly. _________________

no offense, i dont want him to go to Oakland. I want him to leave and have a chance at a playoff run. I think he still has enough in the tank to contribute. His speed isnt what it use to be but he still has some power and still puts forth great effort _________________

Still could be useful as a reliable back for pass protection, catch a few balls out of the backfield, pounding it up the middle, and generally just hanging on to the football. But his explosiveness/speed/dynamic ability is pretty much gone at this point. Possibly with a good offseason to get healthier/in better shape some of that might return, but doubtful.
As mentioned above, i think most Jaguars fans would like to see MJD go somewhere for his last couple years where he can make a run at a championship, or at least some playoffs. But it doesn't seem like he has all that many suitors at this point. Whether that's asking for too much money, or teams just realizing that he doesn't have much left to give. Who knows. |

MJD right now is LT when he signed with the Jets.
Why is why I wouldn't mind the Jets signing him for the right price. |

Good comparison. Half the player he used to be, but that's still not a bad player. _________________
