I just don't understand our obsession with adding mediocre talent.... Just draft one of the WR at 26 or 2nd rd. they are better and better value

No different than adding Hawkins. Same age, both really fast. Ginn does have a lot more success at WR in the NFL. Both short (I think Ginn has a few inches on him).

Be honest DP, its the Ohio thing. Not the mediocre talent.

I've never seen Ted Ginn do this:

For everyone's benefit, I will not continue to quote the gifs. My computer can barely handle 2 at once.

Ted Ginn has more straight line speed. He's not as shifty. Yes he can juke as evidenced by that return, but by comparison, Hawkins has more shake. And is a guy who to me is a better fit as an underneath receiver for YAC. Ginn is better taking the top off the defense.

Again this is my unprofessional opinion

Neither are #1 or #2 guys, both are heading for 30 years old. Just roster filler with the potential for big plays, I really don't have a preference of one over the other. I'll support the one that wears the Browns jersey though.

Agreed. I really just wanted to find and post that Hawkins gif. Despite the fact he made some Browns look bad, if not matched I look forward to him making other DBs look foolish while in the Brown and Orange.

Since Ginn signed, I'll stick to Hawkins.

He's not a #1, he's a slot guy and his contract offer represents that.

He'll be under contract from age 28-31, most players prime.

He's not the second coming, but he'd be far and away the second best WR on the team, although admittedly that's not saying a lot.

He makes us better.
