5 or 6 more elite years and yes, he will be.

Revis is going to enjoy being a sports icon. Randy Moss is the only player whose greatness has ever matched (imo surpassed) Tom Brady's while he was here. Revis is just as good at his position as Brady, if not better.

I expect Moss-like success and fame/glory for Revis while he is a Patriot. It isn't something many other teams can offer. I expect him to be the unquestioned top corner in the game and enjoy the respect (and attention) that honor commands. He is going to channel his inner Deion Sanders & be a pillar of a dynasty.

He faced Sanchez in practice. I am sure he was well aware how terrible he was. The Patriots offer things which I expect to be priceless to his personality.

Have we seen Revis tested against the sort of pick plays the Broncos like to run? The Pats certainly did the same type of thing against the Jets, but I don't recall them ever targeting Revis on such a play.

Is Darrelle Revis in the conversation for greatest Cornerback of all time like Tom Brady is at Quarterback? I'm encouraged by the Revis signing but let's pump the brakes a little here.

Revis is clearly a Hall Of Fame type talent and a generational player to this point in his career. I think there's a very good chance he goes down as a top 5 CB of all time if (big if) he stays healthy. He's that good.

Nah they are holding off. Possibly for more flexibility to make moves or to try and make this deal more long term as the Pats have expressed an interest in making this a long term relationship.

26 teams called Revis once he was released. I wonder what the other 6 teams could be. Jets and probably Seattle are the only 2 that probably didn't call.
