In order to avoid clutter and taking over threads, why not keep all of our quarterback discussion in here?

We have two extremely similar quarterbacks right now. We all know who they are and what they bring, so where should we go from here?

The way I see it towards what others do (not naming names ) you cannot plug a below average or even average starting qb and win a title or even wild card birth.

The way I see it. There are 5 known elite. A few on the cusp breaking into that category and a good amount of good nfl qbs in this league.

It seems like we are attempting to build around the qb here in FA. My hope is that we make a move to get a Teddy or Blake in round 1 top 7. Or move down or grab a Carr or Jimmy g end of 1 early 2.

Give me McCown for 2 seasons.

By that time Glennon should be ready to take over

If you don't think we draft a QB in May in the first or second and let them all battle you're fooling yourself.

I'm with Teddy

Though a Watkins/Carr combo would work for me too

I think Glennon can be mid tier. If Lovie and Tedford are fine with McCown for this season than so am I. Not settling but did we expect to flip from 4-12 to Super Bowl in a few months?

If down for Teddy and Johnny. Teddy seems the most pro ready and I think if you trade up for him you have to start him if he beats McCown out which he should.

Johnny, that's a different story. A year sitting might do wonders for him. See how things work. See how two hard working pros prep (McCown/Glennon).

What is the cost of Johnny and Teddy. Does Watkins "fall" to seven?

I really don't see how we don't add a quarterback high (1st or 2nd round) in the draft. Glennon/Mccown can only take us so far.

It's a new era in Bucs football, we have a strong defense, we have some good weapons on offense, let's go get ourselves a damn quarterback that will be our star. Enough of these stopgaps and bandaids, LET'S GET TEDDY. NOW WHO IS WITH ME??????????

I don't care. I just want a franchise guy we can rely on for the next decade; be it Glennon, Kafka, or a rookie.

IMHO, it is not a matter of if they draft a QB in the first round, it is a matter of whom. Lovie won't carry 3 QBs on the roster, McCown is the insurance policy and Glennon is the starting QB from the previous regime that all got fired.
