The #Jaguars have traded OG Will Rackley to the #Cardinals for an undisclosed draft pick.

This has to signal to yet another signing for us on the interior OL...doesn't it?

I'm kind of surprised honestly with how slim we are.

Actually, I guess it was a fake account.

Gabbert trade made me 1) believe 2) very thirsty

32 year old football player on the downside of his career really does not seem to me like the kind of guy Dave is going to run to sign.

Ian Rapoport @RapSheet

Former #Seahawks DE Chris Clemons is set to visit the #Jaguars, per source. Lot of mutual interest there.

Yup, like it a lot pending on the $$$.

He is a very good pass rusher and although he only had 4.5 sacks last year, he was used in a lot lesser capacity. He has plenty left in the tank and is a couple years younger than Babin who we could bring back and would be a great guy to learn under. Sign me up.

Just don't want the D-Line to get to clogged up with vets our projects and draft picks don't get time to grow.

If everything goes to plan, DE Chris Clemons will sign a multi-year deal with the Jaguars on his visit there.

I'd much rather have our young guys learning from Clemons than Babin, and it's not even close.

If a player's growth is limited by competition, that's not a player you want in the first place.

well yeah, since Clemons has actually been a great LEO in this scheme.

Laughing Well that too. But just in terms of attitude and professionalism as well, is the big thing for me, not just as a leader for his fellow LEOs, but that D-Line/Defense as a whole.

Fair enough, fresh legs will definitely help the rookies from hitting the "wall" too

As a Hawks fan I think it is pretty valuable that you guys are going to have the two prototypes for each of the end positions in Gus' defense.

Even if it is for a relatively short time period, seeing Clem and Red up close will provide teaching and a reference point for the young guys that you develop long term.

Clem was coming off of an ACL tear last season and competing with Bennett, Avril, McDonald and Irvin for sacks last season, but he looked really good in the playoffs - either meaning he has a lot left in the tank or he emptied it in one last push to win the Super Bowl.
