We will use this thread to track and report official and confirmed signings. Please keep rumors and suggestion to The Free Agency Thread and use this thread to discuss newly acquired players.

Welcome to the Cleveland Browns:

Karlos Dansby (Per Kent Somers, Arizona Cardinals reporter)- 4 years / $24 Million
Donte Whitner(Per Adam Schefter) 4 years / $28 Million
Isaiah Trufant

damn it you stole my idea lol

you should clarify that this thread is to be about talking about the newly acquired Browns. It can keep the fluff of wanting to sign this guy or that guy out and we can just talk about the new players themselves and their impact

Quote:
@RapSheet: When the #Browns reach a deal with Donte Whitner, Iím told itís expected to be four years for an average of $7M per year.

Jimmy G stays with New England this year.
We draft Garrett at #1 (out on a limb there).
We trade back from 12 for another 2018 1st.
We do NOT draft a QB in the first 2 rounds.

Heard Shefter talking about giving a 4 year deal to a 33 year old LB, but it seems mostly front loaded so we wont have much of cap issue if we had to cut him in a couple years, right?

yeah I heard $10m is in the 1st year. So hopefully the last 2years are pretty light. Also those small years could make him a good back up if possibly

10 million year 1.

3 years 14 million remaining. Cap isn't an issue.
