YES

We don't have to pay a QB contract for at least 4 years so the money in the secondary won't be an issue by then

Spend money on the best players. Revis is still one of em

You do have to remember none of that is guaranteed, it is possible we could entice him to restructure with the lure of making some of the money guaranteed

I really like this. By trading, we make sure we get him as if he gets cut their is a really good chance he goes elsewhere. We can give him a new contract to make it more cap friendly moving on. By then time we have to resign our QB (hopefully) he'll be out of here and money will be gone

I love all of the rumors, but the anticipation is killing me. If Revis, Moats and Whitner come here as rumored I'm going to be a very happy Browns fan

I have a feeling you guys are going to get him.

I'm not trying to dog on you Browns fans, but your franchise is in a very fluid situation. In many ways, the only thing to "cure" the circus tag is by winning enough games to become respectable again. Trust me, we were in the same situation last year but with far less talent than you guys have. The Jets are living proof that it's possible to change the perception of a team in a year.

The Browns have a number of draft picks and are one of the few teams that have the opportunity to take on the $16 million cap hit without it hampering the rest of your roster. At $49 million under the cap and counting, $33 million should still give you guys plenty of money to execute the same "free agency" plan you guys had coming in.

The beauty of it all is if the team struggles in 2014 and the franchise remains twisting in the wind, you can do the same exact thing the Bucs are doing right now: trade him or cut him. Besides, you guys wouldn't be making near the investment the Browns made a year ago. If it works out, try to renegotiate a more cap-friendly deal that offers more guaranteed money but less salary each year.

Depends.

He'd be great opposite Haden and the 16 a year doesn't bother me as you can rid yourself of the contract at any point, but I really don't care to give up too much to get him.

Espn threw out 26 and a 3rd rounder. No effin way. Maybe a 3rd rounder by itself.

Yeah sure why not. Not my money. And I doubt we are gonna spend all the cap anyway this year so might as well use it up. Maybe after a year we can get him to restructure so we can fit in hadens deal. I'd go a 3rd

Give up a 5th or so, well worth it even if we cut him after this season.

Zero chance the Browns draft a QB at pick 4, or trade up for a QB.

And Matt Ryan is so great he has one playoff win.
