I rarely post but love reading daily. First and foremost, I'm not sold on any QB's but Bortles and Bridgewater, and this mock works under the assumption that both are gone by pick 4. So I won't take a QB I'm not sold on, which means I'll take no QB.

FA:
Jairus Byrd FS
Alterraun Verner CB (screw you Sam Shields)
Arthur Moats ILB (for draft picks to develop behind)
Geoff Schwartz OG

ZAC DYSERT- Trade this years 5th round pick and next years 3rd to Denver for Zac Dysert, their 3rd string QB. I liked him in last years draft, and he looked pretty good in the preseason games. He will be our #2 QB and young developmental guy until next year's draft.

DRAFT:
Trade down from 4 to somewhere in the teens for extra 2nd.
1a. Mike Evans WR (JG and Evans will just abuse secondaries)
1b. Ryan Shazier ILB (gonna beast)
2a. Carlos Hyde RB (if he's gone, plug in Tre Mason instead. Love both)
2b. Kyle Van Noy ILB (his all around skill set will make him a good ILB)
3a. Lache Seastrunck RB (good player for RB rotation and depth, all 3 can run well and catch the ball)
3b. Weston Richburg OG/OC (I like him... watch his tape against Bama, and will develop to take over for Greco and still backup Mack)
4a. Jarvis Landry WR (I think he falls due to measurable, but I love his play for the slot)
4b. CJ Fiedorowicz TE (Excellent blocking TE, pretty athletic for jumbo size and good hands)

QB: Brian Hoyer/Zac Dysert
RB: Carlos Hyde/Lache Seastrunck
WR: Josh Gordon/Travis Benjamin
WR: Mike Evans/Jarvis Landry
TE: Jordan Cameron/CJ Fiedorowicz
LT: Joe "Hall of Fame" Thomas/Chris Faulk
LG: John Greco/Weston Richburg
OC: Alex Mack
RG: Geoff Schwartz/Garrett Gilkey
RT: Mitchell Schwartz/Reid Fragel
DE: Desmond Bryant/Armonty Bryant
NT: Phil Taylor/John Hughes
DE: Ahtyba Rubin/Billy Winn
OLB: Jabaal Sheard/Barkevious Mingo
ILB: Ryan Shazier/Craig Robertson
ILB: Arthur Moats/Kyle Van Noy
OLB: Paul Kruger/Quentin Groves
CB: Alterraun Verner/Buster Skrine
SS: Tashaun Gipson/Johnson Bademosi
FS: Jairus Byrd
CB: Joe Haden/Leon McFadden
BTW... 2nd best secondary in the league

Welcome to the mock madness.

Waaaay too much for Dysert. He looked okay in preseason games against third stringers. I'd be in for a 5th, but that's it.

If we're moving down from 4 to the teens I would want more than a 2nd.

I like pretty much all your picks, though I don't think we really need to double dip at RB with two in the first three rounds.

Mike Evans is my favorite hands down...

Shazier is going to fall 2nd-4th. He just got injured.

So a 6'1 237lb LB who has quality tape and just put up a 42in vert, 10'10 broad and ran a 4.37 is falling to as low as the 4th cuz of a tweaked hammy?

Lay off the hard stuff.

I really don't think you can afford to pay all those free agents. They would add up to too much money. You have to start thinking about paying contracts for 2015. You have Haden, Taylor, Sheard, Rubin, Cameron and Hoyer if he works out. And hopefully you have to include Alex Mack. Then in 2016 you would have to pay Gordan some huge money.

Cap won't be an issue without Shields.

Also don't think we need Seastrunck and Hyde.

Switch Seastrunch for Jean-Baptiste (CB) and I'm in.

I know it happened 4 hours after you published your mock, but take Sam Shields off the list. He re upped with the Packers for 4 more years $39M

LOVE the trade for Dysert. I really think we missed the boat last year not taking him in the 7th. We took Gilkey (not bad) and Dysert was taken seven picks later.

I'm not going to debate on Blake Bortles...Smile no way... I like him and that's enough. Thanks Sam Shields for screwing my mock! I was debating letting TJ Ward walk to answer some of your guys' cap concerns, because I honestly think He isn't what Pettine wants out of a safety.... So, just add a good corner in Shields' place.... I also love Van Noy and Shazier. Don't underestimate the RB position, especially in our offense... Hyde goes down week 3 to IR injury, bam, we got this year's running attack all over again, and, uh, no thank you!

Replace Sam Shields with Alterraun Verner. Talib, D R-Cromartie, and vontae Davis are all unstable, headcases, or unreliable... I wouldn't touch those guys! Take TJ Ward off the Mock as well, but that's it.
