Good move familiar depth at DB, pretty much expected though.

Walls I could do without, but Lankster was great on specials last season.

Lankster is a ST monster and he played well last year at CB. Walls is a nice depth CB to have, saw a lot of positives from him last year as well, plus he is an ND alum. These moves plus adding Patrick will make battle behind our startin CBs very interesting.

Good moves. Continuity is important. Neither are that special at CB, but they know the system. Gotta have guys like that on your team.

Anyone else feel like the Jets have been, and will continue to groom Lankster to take Wilson's place at nickel?

I don't think so. Lankster didn't play much corner this past season.

I have higher hopes for Walls. Rex let him start when milliner struggled early in the season, and that says a lot. Now Walls struggled starting also that's what milliner got to start again, but Walls has grown as a player in his time here. Hopefully he just gets better and better.

Because he is purely a nickel, just like Kyle Wilson. He (Wilson) played every snap when the Jets were in nickel.

I wouldn't be surprised if it were the case. If I'm not mistaken he played a good amount when Revis went down in 2012.
