Every year I see the vote mock draft in the draft forum where anyone can vote on the pick for a team. I'm doing this one different. I'm going to each team forum and doing the mock team by team.

First guy picked 5 times is the guy. If no one has 5 votes after 24 hours, the leader is the pick.

1. Houston - Teddy Bridgewater
2. St. Louis - Jadaveon Clowney
3. Jacksonville - Khalil Mack
4. Cleveland - Blake Bortles
5. Oakland - Sammy Watkins
6. Atlanta - Greg Robinson
7. Tampa Bay - Jake Matthews
8. Minnesota - Derek Carr
9. Buffalo - Mike Evans
10. Detroit - Justin Gilbert

The Tennessee Titans are now on the clock!

There's really only 3 options here:

CJ Mosley
Taylor Lewan
Anthony Barr

Any of those 3 are really good picks... and I'd be leaning towards Mosley at the moment, but I have a strong feeling we'll pick up a solid ILB in FA (either Jackson or Dansby). I feel Barr is slipping... so the choice is going with the top OT on the board.

I say Taylor Lewan

(I'll also say, that in this scenario, with Carr coming off the board before Manziel, the Titans could a) pull the trigger and draft him, or b) pull the trigger and trade the pick for someone who would love to have him [Dallas anyone?])

With that being said, some team will want to trade up for him...so I think we'd trade down and acquire more picks.

Why is Mosley considered a top 11 pick? I wouldn't touch any of the LBs (besides Barr) or DTs before pick #16

Its Lewan or Barr here, just depends how comfortable you are with Barr's risk/reward vs the safer pick Lewan

Barr quite easily. Mosley is so overrated. He's no borderline top 10 pick.

Barr has 4 votes so far(maybe 5 if you count JerseyTitan).

I still got to hang with Mosley. We need a solid franchise player at ILB who can make an impact, and CJ Mosley fits the bill for me. I'd love to be able to trade back and still get him along with an extra pick, but if we have to take him at #11, then so be it. If he's our guy and we get him, I'm good.
I'm not against us signing D'Qwell Jackson or Karlos Dansby, and I'm sure they'd bring valued production and leadership to the team. But at this stage, I'm afraid they'd be nothing more than just stopgaps. I wanted Jackson back when he was at the end of his rookie contract and in his prime. Although I'm sure either one is far better than what we have now, I'm not really interested in "what's left in the tank". After maybe 2 productive years, it'll be time to upgrade the ILB position again. I want some new blood right now, and I think Mosley could be a premier player for us at the spot. Plus he can play both ILB and OLB if needed.

Alternate Scenario: We pass on Mosley, sign Jackson or Dansby and draft Barr or Mack. I think I would sleep good that night.
Shocked Very Happy
