Just do like these in Orange and Brown. |
It would be nice to have the Xtra wide stripe , maybe they'll put the numbers on the sides of the helmets again. |

LOVE Tampa's new unis... Man its a new world a hip hop high tech time for us all and it should be embraced. I really hope they go nuts with the new schemes and bring Cleveland out of the dark ages. Multiple colors stripes flares whatever... just look techie and modern or hell even futuristic. love the tampa numbers on the jerseys. _________________

No kidding. When I scrolled down and saw the visor in the helmet, it reminded me of looking at the eyes of an insect under a magnifying glass by in high school. Frightened me a bit I'll admit... |

The uniforms will be the Nike Elite Area 51 concepts shown in the new TampaBay uniforms. The alternate would of been the more traditional "combat" series that are usually a spin off of something from a teams past.
The helmets im guessing will be the darker metallic orange. All Nike Elite helmets are of the metallic style.
Those who were hoping for just a tweek on the existing uniforms I think are going to be in for a big shock. _________________

I've always wanted a metallic orange. I think that would look sexy. |

Looking at Tampa Bays unis and the problem they have is using 3 colors. Replace all of the orange with just red and those unis look really good. Also if you decrease the flag size the helmets look really good too. |

Hopefully we start to see more unique uniforms in the nfl now, hate seeing every team wearing the same design in different colours. However i imagine we will probably get the tampa treatment in regards to our uniforms. |

I think the transition will be along the lines of the Patriots from the Pat the Patriot days to the flying elf logo, except whereas that transition really was more slowgoing throughout the 90's into early 2000's, the Browns will be pretty abrupt.
I'm not all that worried because of the Tampa Bay monstrosity of a uniform... Tampa Bay set the bar pretty low with their creamsicle uni's (voted some of the worst of all time), so the standards for new uni's aren't much higher IMO. The Browns' FO, on the otherhand, knows how much Cleveland fans are protective of the Browns image, so I imagine they're making sure they don't mess this up. |
