I think I break something if we take a LB at 4 a year after taking a LB at 6

So we went to go see a pro day...

I don't think so. Jimmy wants a marketable and exciting franchise. You don't get that by drafting an ILB at 4.

I was listening to a scout on a radio show who was a guest and they were comparing Mack to a more athletic Willie Mcginest. Which I think is a pretty good comparison. I think Mack would be a better OLB then ILB.

I would be ok with it.

I am a HUGE fan of this kid. I absolutely love him. However, I can't justify taking him 4th for us.

I would love it, think he could be a really good ILB/OLB tweener for us, although we were probably just doing due diligence it would be stupid not to check out one of the top 2 defensive players in the draft (who will realistically be there when we pick).

He's so athletic that putting him outside is the only thing that makes sense.

I understand it's only 1 person's opinion, however Mike Mayock stated he would take Mack number 1 overall. He obviously believes he is the best player in this draft.

The only way your team gets better is by taking the best player available when it's your turn.

If Mack is the best player available when we pick, then that's the guy you take.

Risky move drafting another tweener LB with a Top 6 pick. Great player though and more likely to pan out than Mingo imo.

Yeah it is risky i agree, i would much rather trade back, but i would rather take the the #1 player available who could benefit the team than reaching on the next best player of need.

Why in the Lord's name would you take the best pure 3-4 OLB in the draft and put him at ILB? That would make no sense.

I like Mack a lot, but agree with those who have said that he just doesn't make sense for us because our pass disruption issues have been internal not on the ends.
