I could see Colts trying to do something. But most playoff teams are the teams without money. Browns maybe.

Doubt they trade Andre in division. But the browns is a likely destination if josh gordon does infact get the year suspension.

Can definitely see him jumping at the chance to play for us then. Laughing

Yeah, not sure where he'll try to go but it won't be here. I hope it isn't NE or Denver though.

Green Bay?
sf

Forgot about that with Colts but yes Browns probably closest team to playoffs with money. SF doesnt even have enough money to sign their drafted players as it stands. Much less Andre's salary. Jets might be another option as well. Interesting to see what happens here for a player with a cap number of 15 and 16 respectivley over the next two years.

They didn't resign Boldin or trade for Johnson to be their 4th WR. Plus they don't have the cap space.

NOOOOO

They already got my boy Stevie, they can't have one of my other boys. Although Big Dre to the bay would be interesting.

I could see Philly trying maybe. St Louis could be a good spot too. AJ with Tavon, Cook, Studman and co would be interesting. No excuses for Bradford after that.

Most of the teams with a lot of cap space could use a #1 WR so there should be a lot of suitors. Too bad the Colts and Jags are in division though.

Okay, 1 down and 1 to go!

Boom!

Made this prediction WAY before Schaub was anything more than a rumor to be released and Mack was projected between 8-12.

(Patting self on back)

Did Mack officially take "52"?

Good call. I had a feeling we liked Mack too, but assumed we wouldn't take him or he wouldn't be available.

I believe on one of the earlier pages of this thread I predicted that DA and Reggie would be gone at years end. I think the draft we had saves Reggie now for another year or two, but I still don't see DA staying after this year. I had my doubts about Reggie's drafting ability and he proved me wrong, which is something I like. With the talent we have brought in, in FA and the Draft I think it puts DA on a short leash. I say anything less than 7-9 and Dennis Allen is gone.

I would like to see DA stick around, but if he does get the axe... David Shaw.

What makes you think that Shaw will leave the farm to join us?

+1
great call slayer. I too thought more teams would have been interested in trading up for Mack.

Iirc, he used to coach with us awhile ago. If he wants to make the jump to the NFL we could for once be viewed as a desirable destination with our up and coming team.
