Field Yates‏ @FieldYates
The Titans have re-signed veteran QB Matt Cassel. He remains as Marcus Mariota's back-up.

Still hanging around the league. He's made a lot of money for being a back-up. I want his gig.

It was generally assumed that head coach Sean McDermott would be bringing his 4-3 defensive scheme with him to Buffalo. McDermott confirmed that this week at the NFL Combine, but now a month and a half on the job, the Bills sideline boss has made another decision regarding his defense.

Defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier will be calling plays on game days.

“Leslie Frazier is going to call the defense,” said McDermott. “We’ve got a lot of confidence in Leslie. He and I worked together in Philadelphia for a number of years. Leslie has been there and done that across the league as a position coach and a successful coordinator and then a head coach. From a defensive standpoint I’ve got a lot of confidence in Leslie.”

Chad Greenway now making an impact in retirement. Partnering with @StBaldricks, he'll shave his head if he raises 52K for kids with cancer.

What kind of defense does he run? Maybe if its a different scheme Frazier's play calling will look good

It will be a Tampa-2 defense.

A source tells me that cornerback Josh Robinson will be re-signing with the Bucs. They lost one of their best gunners in Russell Shepard, so getting Robinson back is big for them on special teams.

Quote:
.@AdamSchefter got details on that deal: 2 years, $6.5 million, including $3.5 guaranteed. Wanted to make him one of highest-paid STs in NFL

He got a pretty penny on his gunner special teams skills.

Andre Smith may return to the team that drafted him. Smith, an offensive tackle selected by the Bengals with the sixth overall pick in the 2009 NFL draft, is visiting Cincinnati, according to multiple reports.

The 30-year-old Smith played in Cincinnati through 2015 before signing a one-year contract with the Vikings last year. He started the first four games of the season for the Vikings last year before suffering a season-ending triceps injury.

Percy Harvin is calling it quits, and this time he means it. Harvin, the runner/receiver/returner who came out of retirement to play for the Bills last season, is putting out word that he really is done playing.

One of Harvin’s representatives told Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, “He’s done.”

He's hanging around....28 years old, and only had had 2 carries in his entire career, outside of the 2014 season with the Vikings, when he had 21. He has yet to even have 100 total yards rushing in his career.
