I couldn't include a backup longsnapper. I didn't want the draft to be realistic!

It's because of all the trades you made. It will reduce your score if you make too many trades back (it's too easy to trade back and draft everyone). Also, your 2nd rounders IMO (and in the opinion of the game) are all a bit too early (well, Jordan Matthews is pretty good value, though he may still go half a round later). The game weights earlier picks much more than later picks; thus, your late rounders had great value, but D. Carr could go 2nd round, D. Yankey may end up going later (many like X. Sua, Z. Martin better as guards etc.). If that was their real draft, it'd be pretty good.

I've never figured out how they "score" that site. I've done WAY too many mocks on there, and I can't figure out how to get them higher.

I haven't cracked the code 100%, but here's basically what I've gathered:

(1) A few trades are good, but if you do too many, it grades you down.
(2) You get a bonus (i.e., if a guy has B+ value but is listed as a team need, it'll give you an A- or an A. I've verified this).
(3) Even though you have needs, BPA can trump that. If I have a B-value WR at a position of need or an A-value player at a position of non-need, draft the A player.
(4) If you have no need at all for a player (i.e., if you are the Packers and spend your first pick on a QB), it can grade your pick down. It only does this in a few cases, so I wouldn't worry too much (I'll draft two RB's in a draft etc.).
(5) Future draft picks will help your score. Unfortunately, you are not able to get them with teams picking late in the 1st.
(6) Some positions consistently fall (C, RB, QB etc.) and can often be grabbed a round or even two later than their value, which really helps your points.
(7) Some positions go way too fast (like WR). Don't reach or it'll hurt your score. Just ignore that need til the value fits close enough. Also, if you have, say, a need at WR, LB and DT to start, you might want to get the WR first, since the value goes down quick on WR but not the other two.
(Cool You will get the most points by having the best combination of bpa and filling team needs. It has its own ranking of players, but it updates here & there and is fairly reasonable as a board (I mean, what do we really know at this point anyway, with no one having played an NFL down?).

I hope that helped Very Happy.

Round 1 Pick 4: Jadeveon Clowney, DE, South Carolina (A) - Because I can!

Round 1 Pick 26: C.J. Mosley, ILB, Alabama (A) - Bpa at a position of need.

Round 2 Pick 3: Derek Carr, QB, Fresno State (A-) - A guy who fits our scheme and is imo a first round talent.

Round 3 Pick 7: Dakota Dozier, OG, Furman (B+) - Fills a need, has quite high upside.

Round 3 Pick 19: Donte Moncrief, WR, Ole Miss (A) - Has all the physical tools and is very good, could step in day 1 and be our #2.

Round 4 Pick 6: Jeremy Hill, RB, LSU (A) - A monster running back, can come in and spell Tate.

Round 4 Pick 27: Arthur Lynch, TE, Georgia (B+) - Gets us a #2 TE with some talent, I'm looking at you Jim Dray and Gary Barnidge.

Round 5 Pick 5: Antone Exum, CB, Virginia Tech (B+) - Can come in and learn behind Skrine and Haden, could be a starter in the future. Could also convert to FS in worst case scenario.

Round 6 Pick 4: TJ Jones, WR, Notre Dame (A) - Will be our #4 receiver, can spell Hawkins in the slot.

Round 7 Pick 3: Vinnie Sunseri, SS, Alabama (B) - Limited physical upside but is very intelligent on the field.

BOOM!

102 Loucheiz Purifoy
123 C.J. Fiedorowicz

nice - we have the same idea -

Your score is: 4661 (Drafting Ability: B, Player Quality A, Future Draft Picks: N/A)

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 4: Jadeveon Clowney, DE, South Carolina (A)
Stud, once he knows this is for money I think we will see a beast
Round 1 Pick 26: C.J. Mosley, ILB, Alabama (A)
Learn from Dansby for a few years- will start in the base for now
Round 2 Pick 12 (STL): Troy Niklas, TE, Notre Dame (B)
I see a real talent here- I think he could be a Gronk type, and J-bone our Hernandez type (but can block better)
Round 3 Pick 7: Jimmy Garoppolo, QB, Eastern Illinois (A)
Sits behind Hoyer- learns the system and can come in if need be.
Round 3 Pick 11 (STL): Donte Moncrief, WR, Ole Miss (A)
I think he will put it together at the next level, wont have to try to hit the homerun with every catch-
Round 3 Pick 19: Keith McGill, CB, Utah (A-)
I like alot of corners in the class (all the florida boys could make it) McGill will go higher then this I think
Round 4 Pick 6: Christian Jones, ILB, Florida State (B-)
ATH- Jones and Mosley could be a true force in the near future
Round 4 Pick 31 (DEN): Lache Seastrunk, RB, Baylor (A)
Needs to learn to make one cut and run, and if he does we wont be resigning Tate in two years.....
Round 5 Pick 5: Tyler Larsen, C, Utah State (C+)
in doing this I still think we have Mack, but this could be insurance if we lose him next year (if not he slides to Guard possible)
Round 6 Pick 4: Dri Archer, WR, Kent State (C+)
Speed Kills.
Round 6 Pick 31 (DEN): Kirby Van Der Kamp, P, Iowa State (A)
Punters are people too
Round 7 Pick 31 (DEN): L'Damian Washington, WR, Missouri (B-)
MY biggest draft crush- a true vertical threat guy, that is a willing special teams player- and a leader.

Your Future Picks:
2015 Round 1 Pick
2016 Round 1 Pick

Procrastination mock...
Round 1 Pick 9 (BUF): Johnny Manziel, QB, Texas A&M (A)
Round 1 Pick 26: Xavier Su'a-Filo, OG, UCLA (A-)
Round 2 Pick 3: Odell Beckham, WR, LSU (A)
Round 2 Pick 9 (BUF): Austin Seferian-Jenkins, TE, Washington (B+)
Round 3 Pick 7: Bashaud Breeland, CB, Clemson (B+)
Round 3 Pick 9 (BUF): Yawin Smallwood, ILB, Connecticut (B)
Round 3 Pick 19: Jeremy Hill, RB, LSU (A)
Round 4 Pick 6: Bryan Stork, C, Florida State (C+)
Round 4 Pick 9 (BUF): Shayne Skov, ILB, Stanford (B-)
Round 4 Pick 27: Josh Huff, WR, Oregon (A-)
Round 5 Pick 5: James Hurst, OT, North Carolina (B-)
Round 6 Pick 4: Matt Patchan, OT, Boston College (C-)
Round 7 Pick 3: Aaron Colvin, CB, Oklahoma (D+)

Get high quality starters/backups up to the fourth, Stork as insurance for Mack, Skov could start in a pinch - could also be a 2 down starter with Smallwood coming in on third downs. Patchan and Hurst have alot of talent and can be projects to kick inside in the zbs we will run or replace Schwartz if people want. Colvin has a tonne of talent obviously injuries/recent play drops him though. It is very O-line heavy but all three could be starters one day in the league, would sort our line for years (hopefully).
