Add Aaron Donald DT from Pittsburgh on that list now. This guy has been going up and up and up on draft boards as of late. He might not look like a 1st round pick now, but on draft day, he could be a top 10 pick.

I'd be surprised if he went that high and not surprised if he's on the board at 24. Depending on who else is available, Donald would be a decent pick for the Bengals. Imagine lining up next to Geno on passing downs and the interior rush we'd get.

The one thing that impresses me the most on this guy is his work ethic too. That's apparently been his biggest asset. Whoever gets Donald is gonna something special. Hes definitely worth a look at 24 regardless of DT not being a high need.

I've been having this sneaky suspicion that a DT is a decent possibility. The only true lock at DT on this roster is Atkins.

Not so fast........

Geno has a nasty injury for a guy who puts all that power through those ligaments and hamstrings. It is definitely not a lock IMO that Geno gets back to where he was power wise.

If the Bengals go DT that could tell us a lot about Geno's rehab.

I like Rashede Hageman a lot. Guys a bull.......

Reports are that y'all are very interested in Aaron Murray as a potential successor to Dalton. Aaron Murray is the career leader of touchdowns thrown in the SEC with 115. The Murray-Green connection would be revived, Atkins is on the team as well.... do you think the FO gives Murray a shot and reunites him with AJ Green? How would you as fans feel about this?

Just my view, but watching Murray I don't get the sense that he represents an improvement over Dalton that as a minimum would get us deeper into the play-offs.

I also acknowledge though, that there is something there between Murray and Green.....

If I were Bengal GM right now, I'd be cutting Josh Johnson and Zac Robinson, look to get an experienced vet guy in like a Ryan Fitzpatrick to mentor Dalton, and look to draft a young guy who might eventually replace Dalton if he tanks next year.

Just not sure if Murray is that guy...... but he could be.

The Bengals are expected to draft a QB from the 3rd round on. So guys like Murray, McCarron, Mettenburger, etc are possibilities.

Okay Rolling Eyes well if Geno somehow didn't come back full strength it's not like we would dump him this off season. We would find out next season he wasn't going to fully recover and next year something would be done. He's a lock to be on this year's roster.

Great job 'DD3' keeping tabs on all this.

Perhaps when we get to the week before the draft or so, we could put all these visits into one list ?

It will be real interesting to see how many of our later picks and UDFA's will be guys we know they've visited with, and see if there is any obvious correlation. It might make our future mocks more accurate, if we reliably know they draft more guys from visits than otherwise. Not sure we've done that here much before........

Thanks LB.

What do you mean by one list? Like combining the meetings and pro days?
