Slow start to the End of the 1st day, Not Exciting or Good?

This seems to be one of the few bright spots of the year for Reskins fans lately, the first day of FA signings. I found myself wishing for the big signing again and at the end of day, we re-signed 2 of our own and picked up a quiet, young, needs posistion, starter.

As much as I would like to see the big first day splash, I was happy that it wasn;t there and that we concentrated on the position we needed to address that was hardest to fill and we accomplished it 3 hours into free agency. I hope this is the begining of a more focused free agent signing where we go for quality over "best in class"

I'm happy that Dan's jet stayed grounded. I'm looking forward to handing out a couple "I told ya so's".
