The Harbaugh case, as told by John @ClaytonESPN: "I think the story was oversold." Doesn't think it was ever close. #RiseGuys

I could totally imagine Jim manipulating the Browns in order to put pressure on York. He'd do anything to win.

I think this is the clearest article on the story so far.

Quote:
A league source told me Sunday that the Browns' offer was "laughable." That's a far cry from the imminent deal that was painted in the original report on Friday.

Quote:
And that's what makes this soap opera so interesting. York can't capitulate. And it's not just because being bullied by Harbaugh would set a bad precedent. It's because Harbaugh never will be content. It's in his nature to create chaos. He thrives in it. He's the god of discord. If this current crisis is solved, another will pop up in a few months. If general manager Trent Baalke is dismissed, Harbaugh will pick a fight with the next guy.

Yep, he will never be settled and will make it hard to work with. A lot of psycho competitors are the same way though. Kobe and MJ would have this type of drama, but winning cures everything. I would like the team to give him an extension sooner than later.

Same here. Winning solves everything...

Jim Harbaugh still has 2 years left on his deal. so we still have time to negotiate. Pete Carroll is going into the last year of his deal and coming off a SB and no one even mentions him not getting an extension yet. this is all completely over blown.
