I would take him. I honestly would be happy with any of my top 6 receivers in this class - Watkins, Evans, OBJ, Cooks, Lee, Matthews.

What defensive players would you take before a non-Watkins receiver at 18?

I would take Clowney, Mack, and maybe Dennard.

Barr, Mack, and Pryor. Only defensive players I wouldn't be mad about in the 1st.

An interesting thing to look at is that the Seahawks don't seem to value WR size all that much. Outside of Sidney Rice (6'4), their top 3 receivers heading into this season were not very big. However, it should be noted that they have tried drafting bigger WRs like Chris Harper and Kris Durham.

Percy Harvin - 5'11
Golden Tate - 5'10
Doug Baldwin - 5'10

The same goes for Marty Mornhinweg in Philly. Here were his top 3 receivers for his last 4 seasons with the Eagles:

DeSean Jackson - 5'11
Jeremy Maclin - 6'
Jason Avant - 6'

I'm sure a lot of teams are like that. And it's not like Idzik/Marty were pulling the strings.

People that moved up in my eyes...

Barr, Mack, Abbrederis, Cook, Fiedorowicz, Street, Evans, Cyril Richardson, Telvin Smith

People that are off my board now..

Steen, Charles Sims, Amaro, Paul Richardson

Everyone else pretty much sits the same in my eyes. Ebron would still be my safest pick at 18 unless Barr or Mack were there. Might struggle in that case.

Was impressed by Gilbert and Roby today, both looked fluid in drills and showed great speed and acceleration

What caused Charles Sims to drop off your board. He put up nice numbers, and we know he has good hands from the season.

To be honest his hand size alone scares the heck out of me. Might not seem like enough to not want him, but it was enough to make me pass.

Hey green I think it was you last year who posted that red/yellow/green breakdown of metrics that determined successful pass rushers in the NFL. Do you have that chart anywhere still? Was interested to see how it panned out with last years draft and look at some guys from this year.

That is a pretty insignificant reason to chose not to want someone. Maybe for a WR or a QB it weighs into the equation a bit more but even then it isn't a huge deal. Sims had a nice day and caught more balls than probably any RB out their last year, so even if he has small hands the guy can clearly catch. A 215lb back running a sub 4.5 who has tons of experience catching the ball seems like a good fit for us.

I'll bump it in a few days when all the data is filed.

Awesome, thanks. It is a cool concept - could be useful.
