I'd be happy with Robinson. He may go 2nd overall, at seven would be good value.

Put any name on the board and he can be ripped apart. Every guy has questions... period!

Agreed

Brian Billick's tie is just awful. Definitely drops him down to a second day analyst IMO.

I'm saying is if I'm taking a LT I'm taking a guy who is polished in the top 10. Robinson is extremely raw in that department. I think he'll at worst make a very good G. But as a pure lt , if rate him 5th if you combine last years crop to this years. And that is a toss up between him and lane Johnson for 5th/6th.

I love his upside but I'd be more comfortable taking Matthews at 7 bc he's just great all around. Technique is better. Much better. I think immediately he comes in his rooki year and plays like a top 12 lt.

You can't run a 4.39-40 lol?

When I was poking around yesterday everyone listed him at 6'4" 245/250lbs.

Now 255lbs while training I wouldn't think it's be a problem getting up to 260-265ish. Very good size for an end. Long arms and speed to burn.

Going to do a lot more investigating over the next few days.

That first step is bonkers. I would like to know what Lovie and co think about him.

From what I remember, generally Lovie had bigger sized guys at RDE. Ogunleye, Brown, and Peppers were all pretty big 4-3 RDEs. He never really had a pass rushing LB at SLB next to Briggs and Urlacher in his base defense. I remember one year he did use Mark Anderson as a situational pass rusher. My basic point unless the guy can play a DE position at a high level, I just don't see him drafting a hybrid LB/DE specialist.

Yea tbh, I am thrilled about this. I was getting less and less interested in Barr. I just didn't see him playing SLB in the NFL and thought he as going to come in to slim to be a DE.

After this, I really like the idea of moving down to the low teens and grabbing him. I think he would be a perfect RDE.

We aren't going to be able to drop down if Barr is the guy we think he is. 7 is just fine for him
