I saw this and thought it would be an easy way to keep up with measurements of all the combine participants.

1st Group of Olineman.

Two guys out of this group that I like based off tape
Justin Britt - Missouri ran a 5.10
Ryan Groy - Wisconsin ran 5.13

I read the evaluation of Britt on NFL.com not quite the same as I see it, not entirely off base but kind of shortsighted.

Groy is more of later round guy that could catch on and start at OG.

JPN,

What do you know about Robert Thomas, DT Arkansas. Weighed in at 6'1' 327 with almost 34" arms? Does he have 3-4 NT potential, or is he better suited as a 4-3 NT. Measurables are good, but apparently broke his leg in October. Was expected to weigh in about 6'2" 308, so wasn't sure if that extra 20 or so lbs were "flab", or if 327 is a good weight for him.

I guess he's a 7th Rd/UDFA type, but was just wondering.

EDIT:

Also, not at the combine, but Beau Allen, NT, Wisconsin, estimated 6'3" 333lbs. Played 53 straight games, apparently, so healthy.

We're seeing some pretty athletic TE's, at least based on their 40 times. Unofficial times:
Ebron-4.5
Amaro-4.66, 4.62 at 6'5 3/8 265
Reggie Jordan-4.53
Colt Lyerla-4.47
Fedorowicz-4.82
AC Leonard-4.56
Arthur Lynch-4.68

Greg Robinson is showing that he is the freak athlete everyone thought he was. Has a chance to be the 1st OT taken. No way he's there at 1.15.

Ebron could be gone by 1.15, but I don't think a 4.5 40 is going to do that. Everyone already knew he was athletic. What Vernon Davis did sent him skyrocketing up draft boards. There's some other drills to go, but that 40 time shouldn't do that.

Watching the Michael Sam interview with the media right now. Painful, and seems tired of the questions about everything not football related. The media pushed for this so they could get a story and that's it.

Koundjo looks like a 4th round pick.

Amaro officially 4.74

Fiedorowicz officially 4.76

Ebron officially 4.60

All good enough times for where they are projected, I'd say, but...

Marcel Jensen at official 4.85 won't help him move up, nor will...

Lynch official at 4.82...

or Gilmore Crockett at 4.89

EDIT: nor will...

Rodgers at 4.87...oooff...short (6'4"), weak (16 reps), and slow...not a good combo for TEs.

They've done that a few years and it made me doubt the official times, as well. can't comprehend why they don't just have an electronic system which would at least weed out the variable human response time.

Either way, Ebron couldn't finish drills. At a 4.6 official time, his stock is about the same. It's lower than some people thought they would see from him.

Didn't want to start another thread, but something else I wanted to discuss was Colbert's recent talk on underclassmen. Said some just aren't really ready for all this, which is true. But it has led some people to think that means Colbert has some aversion to taking them. While it's true that most of his picks are actually Seniors, a lot of his 1st round picks were young guys and/or underclassmen.

Jones, Pouncey, Decastro. Have other 2nd round picks like Worilds and Bell. The Steelers have no aversion to it.

Supposedly he has arthritic knees too. Never wanted the Steelers to look at him and I especially don't now after his combine performance.

Those Stanford OL move very nicely.

Mayock is blind by saying Gabe Jackson has no movement skills. The guys pulls and gets to the 2nd level as good as Warmack and the guy from NC in last years draft.

He also pouted because Ebron wasn't as fast as He (Mayock) thought.

What a weiner!
