Breaking News, we have just restructured Miles Austin through 2020.

This is good news for the Boys. While I don't see Miles sticking around any longer, I do see them retaining Ware now with a restructure, or this may allow them to tag Hatcher on a one year deal to limit our loss of talent on the defensive side of the ball.

A little extra money can only help, but I doubt Hatcher can now be franchise tagged, at least not without getting rid of Ware. All this does in my eyes is make it so one can stick around for one more year instead of neither.

That's a big jump. It's much higher than many of us expected. That's excellent news. It'll help us alleviate some of our cap burdens a little less painfully.

This is why GD is a brilliant poster. I've come close to pissing my pants a number of times after reading his dry, deadpan posts.

This is great news. Doesn't seem like much but the extra $4M than what was projected is certainly helpful.

If that's the question who do you keep?? The guy (Hatcher) who said he had played his last game as a Dallas Cowboy. Or the guy (Ware) who said he will not take a paycut even though his play has severely gone downhill the past year and a half??

If it was up to me I would keep neither. First and foremost this is a business and we all know business decisions are meant to be made with our heads and not our hearts. With the cap relief of releasing Ware the team can possibly add one or two free agents to take care of needs. A possibility of a safety like Delmas and a backup for Murray, someone like a MJD, Donald Brown or Rashad Jennings. Then just focus on dline depth when draft day comes along.

Absolutely. This is rather unexpected from everything I have read.

Also, GD wins the thread.

I say neither. Cut Ware and let Hatcher walk.

I agree. At this point does either get us closer to a SB? No
