I see a lot of different mock drafts putting in FA players and I am curious on what people think on who should be the biggest top 3 FA targets for the bills this off season. We all know Byrd is a must but outside of bills FA players who would be the best players for the bills?

My personal opinion would be Brian Orakpo LB for Washington. The bills could have had him in the draft but made the Maybin Mistake. He might not be ideal for 4-3 but his athletic ability when healthy is ridiculous. This might be more of a luxury then an actual fit but this move could definitely benefit the defense.

My second would be Alterrun Verner CB for Titans. He would be an ideal CB opposite to ilmore with mckelvin rotating in.

My 3rd and final spot is Matt Schaub he would be a perfect veteran presence to help Ej progress to the next level and if EJ gets hurt we know he can fill in if needed. Everyone likes Thad and thinks he can manage just fine but he had one decent game against the bengals and was awful in the 4 other games. He has alot of work to do still and Schaub is a known winner at times he just had an awful season. He did turn the Texans team around when he was traded there.

I dont see the bills spending all this money on these top 3 guys but this is more of a what would you do if you were gm scenario.

I wont include Schaub (or Cousins) because those are rumored trades - not FA pickups..

TE-Brandon Pettigrew .. I think we need an improvement at tight end. Pettigrew has not lived up to expectations but he is a big body and has potential to improve.

RT-Michael Oher (or Branden Albert) .. Fills a major need for the team. I assume Oher probably will be retained, but I expect Albert to hit the market. Albert is above average and would be a good signing.

MLB-Brandon Spikes .. It hurts to take a Patriot player, especially one with a history of being dirty, but he is an improvement. I would put him inside and kick Kiko to OLB.

This leaves us free to draft Evans in the 1st, then maybe look at whoever might fall to us in the 2nd..

Im using Schaub as a FA move just based on the reports of Houston not wanting to pay him the amount of $14 million he is owed and that cutting him would save them money. Since Houston is strapped for cap I see him being cut whether it is now or a post June 1st move. I just dont see him being on a team that is showing interest at drafting a qb 1st overall.

I do like the pettigrew idea and Im sure Schwartz can give the front office some info on the guy. Tight End is definitely a need and I dont see any spectacular draft choices. A lot of reporters say Ebron at 9 but I just dont see him as a top 10 pick, only 2 have been drafted in the last 15 years that high and that was winslow and davis.

OLB Wesley Woodyard - played with Denver when they were both a 3-4 and 4-3 and also played ILB in college. A bit undersized but I like his versatility and could start at any LB spot in a 4-3.

WR Riley Cooper - 90% chance he doesn't leave Philly, but if he does, he could be the size we need at WR, even though signing WR's as UFA's does not have a good track record.

TE Dustin Keller - Should come cheap and we can put him on the same "1 year to prove it" contract the Dolphins had him on before he tore his ACL. Cheap and could be an excellent receiving option for us.

OT Brandon Albert - Still young enough and can start immediately at RT grading out above average like previously posted. Im really hoping we get Matthews or Robinson but Alberts would be a great consolation.

WR James Jones - I very good possesion WR to help Manuel and should fit in well with Stevie, Goodwin and Woods.

OLB Wesley Woodyard - Very versatile, fills a need, brings leadership and is a playmaker. If we get another sideline to sideline guy beside Alonso our front 7 would be very good

OT - Brandon Albert/Michael Oher

- This will help out or offensive line a lot. Only concern is that one of them might want LT money and to play that position so we do put them there, move Cordy to Guard and draft another OT? Or keep Cordy where he is and then one of these guys at RT?

LB - Brandon Spikes

- Makes sense due to the connection with our LB coach. This will move kiko to OLB but will give us 2 solid LB to build on.

FS - Louis Delmas

- Now, this only makes sense is Byrd doesn't re-sign. Going off of that assumption, this would be a solid pickup. We have Schwartz now as our D-Coordinator the connection is there for him to sign and easily pickup the defense. Would be cheaper than Byrd but still a solid player at his position.

Good gawd! This would be one monstrous FA period!

What would you guys think about Sidney Rice? He was released by Seattle to save some money, but I think he can still play at a high level. 6'4" 200+ lbs, 27 yrs old, good hands, not a burner, but good speed.

Honestly I'd be happy to bring him in (if he's healthy).

Would have to be very incentive driven and hopefully not too much guaranteed. I could see a type of T.O. deal, 2 years, a little guaranteed (1.5 mil) but enough where he will sign here.

I would be all for Sidney Rice. I wanted him years ago before he went to Seattle.

The 3 guys I would like to sign however are:

CB Corey Graham - Could unseat McKelvin as our #2 and really solidify our back end of the defense. Buffalo native and has a SB ring. McKelvin, Brooks, Robey fighting for the nickel aint too shabby either.

LB Jo-Lonn Dunbar - He isn't the sexiest name out there but he would certainly come cheap and is just one year removed from a breakout season. He could compete with a rookie and/or Moats.

TE Garret Graham - An upgrade over Chandler, and would compete with Moeaki in camp. ONly has 20 starts in 4 years but has put up some nice numbers including 8 td's. At the very least he'd be our #2 going into the season.

1. Brandon Spikes- This team could use a little mean streak and he has a TON of postseason experience.

2. Jared Veldheer- A 6'8" monster to play RT. Very underrated.

3. Everson Griffen- I'm assuming that Schwartz will be looking to use more prototypical DEs. Our lack of DE depth isn't talked about enough. Manny Lawson doesn't have a defined role. Jerry Hughes is a pass rush specialist. Other than Mario, there isn't much there.

Lawson will be a SLB just like he was last year. Little to no difference. Your'e right Hughes definitely isn't an every down DE which is why we NEED to re-sign Carrington and draft a DE.
