Quote:
As all must surely recognize, the NFL is not an ordinary workplace. Professional football is a rough, contact sport played by men of exceptional size, speed, strength and athleticism. But even the largest, strongest and fleetest person may be driven to despair by bullying, taunting and constant insults. We encourage the creation of new workplace conduct rules and guidelines that will help ensure that players respect each other as professionals and people.

Here's the tl;dr for people:

Quote:
The Report concludes that three starters on the Dolphins offensive line, Richie Incognito, John Jerry and Mike Pouncey, engaged in a pattern of harassment directed at not only Jonathan Martin, but also another young Dolphins offensive lineman and an assistant trainer. The Report finds that the assistant trainer repeatedly was the object of racial slurs and other racially derogatory language; that the other offensive lineman was subjected to homophobic name-calling and improper physical touching; and that Martin was taunted on a persistent basis with sexually explicit remarks about his sister and his mother and at times ridiculed with racial insults and other offensive comments.

Can't see Incognito getting another job after this. Shocking behaviour from a grown man. Pouncey and Jerry look bad as well.

I'm guessing Brandon Albert to Miami, then.

I was starting come around to Incognito maybe getting a bad rap but some of this stuff is really bad.

I get that maybe Martin was not made for the NFL locker room but still.

As my entire baseball team likes to say, and this is pertaining to Richie Incognito specifically:

So Page 31, when Incognito's joking with Player B about buying guns to kill all the black people with (and Jeff Ireland). Player B totally has to be Jake Long right?

Good point. There are other Bronco fans that said that they wanted him on another site, but I wasn't one of them. They said that we needed some mean guys with bad character, but I don't want a jerk like that (who, allegedly, stole Ryan Tannehill's credit card and bought a jet ski because he felt he "deserved" it) on my team.

After reading some of that report, I want someone to go for his knees if he plays again.

they don't live in your world. Roy Williams racked up a $50k dinning bill on Dez Bryants card.

add to that all the probowl shenanigans that go on.

Chunks of it make it sound like Porky's / the villains from any sports underdog story ever. And then it just keeps going, and going, until you're like, okay, yeah, this is too much, and then it goes a hundred miles past that.

Well I think that's different. Rookies pay for dinner all the time, that's totally different than an offensive lineman stealing his QB's credit card to buy himself a jetski. That's just plain messed up.

There's acceptable "rookie hazing" (if you want a good example of typical rookie duties or hazing, there's haircuts, carrying shoulder pads/equipment, delivering hats in the dorms during OTC's, etc.), there's a line, there's 50 feet of crap, and then there's what Richie Incognito did.

not really. The typical rookie dinners are ~5-10k. Roy ordered cases of thousand roller bottles of wine.. TOGO.. because Dez didn't carry his pads.

$40k in alcohol is much worse than ~$15k jet ski.

also- you completely ignored that vets routinely do this to each other at the probowl. How many stories have we heard of guys charging everything to another guys room? And well respected guys are often part of the gag.
