I think we can get a good return man that can also help out offensively as well. Trindon is a ST only player pretty much. |

The team has needs on defense, sure, but immense talent on the defensive line masks a lot and the next step in making the Jets a team that can compete every year is making the team one that can consistently score points. |
This times 10000 man. I have a little bit of faith in Idzik that he'll do the right thing. We have a major advantage with Rex as our HC in that he can do a lot with a little. We absolutely NEED a lot on offense just so we can improve a little and that alone will make this defense more refreshed each game. |
Thank you, I have been trying make the point for a while now that the biggest thing we can do to help this D is to keep them off the field for a bit with a better O that won't go 3 and out every time. Honestly aren't people sick of watching our offensive production... it is sad and hard on the eyes. |

So far Jacksonville and Minnesota have signed their "bridge" starters in Henne and Cassel. Many have reported that both teams will not be pressured into taking QBs in the 1st round either.
Teams still in need for a veteran bridge/high level backup include TB, BUF, HOU, TEN, OAK, and us. Vick and McCown are widely considered the 2 best options available. |

Man Cassel got 2 years 10 million, Henne 2 years 8 million. I almost wanna just draft a mid round QB as a back up now, back up QB's have gotten to expensive for my taste. |

I wonder how much it will cost for Vick or McCown? |

I would imagine Vick could get slightly more than Cassel, McCown maybe slightly less, either way it seems like a lot of money for someone a team hopes never has to play. |

Just saying, I am not opposed to signing Chris Johnson to a friendly deal. _________________

Chris Johnson has the skills we need with speed and pass catching ability. But he won't be cheap. Plus he would split carries here with Ivory, when he can get 20 touches guaranteed on a lot of other teams. |

I'm happy with Ivory and pairing him with Powell/Sproles should be good enough. _________________

I think if anything, we cut goodson, sign someone like sproles, and draft a guy _________________
