If this were Madden gimme Orakpo, Butler, Ward, Veldheer, Ben Tate and Teddy Bridgewater by swapping firsts with Houston giving them David Stewart and CJ.

Realistic people I would like at each position

OLB
Parys Haralson

MLB
Brandon Spikes
Perry Riley

SS
Ryan Clark
Stevie Brown
Taylor Mays (I think George Wilson would be the starter in this situation)

OT
Eric Winston
J'Marcus Webb

QBs
None

RB
Ideally replace in draft
La'Rod Stephens-Howling
I like Gerhart but he reminds me of what Greene brings to the table.
I like Tate as well but he will be to much money.

Here are my realistic targets:

QB - 1
Charlie Whitehurst - Could be just a camp arm but would be nice to have a QB who has experience in Whiz system.

RB - 1
La'Rod Stephens-Howling - Whiz drafted him and also could shore up our return game.

Offensive Tackles - 1
Eric Winston - I'd really prefer not to waste a draft pick on a RT this year.

Inside Linebackers - 1
Karlos Dansby - He is my priority guy.
Donald Butler - Would be a tough pull from San Diego.
Brandon Spikes - Nice run stopping LBer.

Outside Linebackers - 1
O'Brien Schofield - If Seattle lets him walk I could see us signing him for depth. Whiz drafted him in 2010 & he also played two years in Ray Horton's scheme.

Here are some of my favorites at positions of need.

Outside Linebackers

Jason Worilds- Would cost a ton but would be ideal if we cut Wimbley
O'Brien Schofield- Dont have as much love for him as others do, he is a rotational backup at best with some familiarity with Whiz
Parys Haralson- Solid veteran could provide strong depth
Calvin Pace- One of my sleepers for us, Pace had 10 sacks last season so he shows he still has the ability to play at age 33, could be a solid veteran starter during this transitional period.
Frank Zombo- I have always liked his ability to rush the passer, it seems like wherever he goes he has decent success in a reserve role. He is one that I really want as a backup because you can usually count on him for 20 tackles and a few sacks and TFL.

Inside Linebackers

Karlos Dansby- Obviously the top target for us going into the offseason, would give us a veteran that has great experience in the middle that can rack up the tackles and be a force. He reminds me a little of Demeco Ryans for the Eagles in the 3-4, as soon as they made the switch he became an impact player again and really was strong for them. Dansby would be great on a 4 year deal at age 32. Not to mention he is from Alabama so coming to Tennessee could be a draw since it would put him closer to home.
Paris Lenon- Solid veteran, stepped up for Denver this season when Woodyard was struggling. Would be a much better depth option IMO than Fokou.

Safeties

Pollard- Need to retain him, too important for this team on and off the field

Offensive Tackles

Zach Strief- Solid Veteran that could hold his own at RT and would not cost that much to bring in.
Eric Winston- Same as Strief solid veteran and could hold down RT until someone else is drafted to take over.
Tyson Clabo- A cheaper veteran that struggled to start the season, but thrived toward the end would be a solid buy low option, more talented than Strief and Winston but has more risk involved as well. Could be an option to bring him in and then draft a OT like a Morgan Moses or JuWan James and let the two battle it out.

Quarterbacks
None- Fitz is one of the best backups in the league no point to upgrade, he is signed at a reasonable price for next season. If Locker fails I would much rather have Fitz ready to step in than Vick or anyone else.

Running Backs

Knowshon Moreno
- Could be a solid signing, rumored to want around $4M a season and that would be a deal IMO. I would offer him a 4yr/$20M deal in a heartbeat, great runner this season and solid pass catcher out of the backfield. It also would bring him closer to home.
Ahmad Bradshaw- A solid veteran that could be brought in as insurance if a rookie is drafted. Major injury concerns, but a 1 year deal on a vet minimum would make a ton of sense.
Toby Gerhart- I have always loved his talent, anyone who compares him to Greene has not watched him. He has more speed and agility and is a better pass catcher out of the backfield. Younger and could become a star if given more carries, has been hidden behind AP.

I have never watched him extensively. He just seemed like a bruising back when I did watch him. My apologies

Sadly I still don't see him being brought in here. I think Greene will be primary carrier with a change of pace back coming in via draft or free agency.

No need for apologies thats just my opinion. He is a brusing back but he offers more than just power. Check these out.....

I loved Orakpo as a player coming into the draft. If we could get him I would buy his jersey immediately.

Orakpo is most likely not leaving Washington. Will likely be tagged if a deal is not met.

I'm not so sure about that... He's a free agent this year, and coming off of IR for the second year straight not exactly sure if we'll get the same Marc we saw in his Pro Bowl year. I love Marc, but I seriously have doubts that we'll make it a priority to resign him especially with Leon Washington also being an option in the return game.

Resign Bernard Pollard, Ropati Pitoitua, Damian Williams, Antonio Johnson. Cut CJ, Fokou, and David Stewart. Make Wimbley take a pay cut or release him if he doesn't.
Sign either Donald Butler, Karlos Dansby, or Brandon Spikes for ILB beside Zach Brown.
Sign either Jared Veldheer, Eugene Monroe, Brandon Albert, Rodger Saffold, Charles Brown, or Michael Oher.

Try and draft Khalil Mack, Ka'Deem Carey, Jimmy Garoppolo, Stanley Jean-Baptiste, Will Sutton, Jordan Zumwalt. Very Happy

Someone is dreaming....we would need 7 picks in the first three rounds to make that happen and we only have 2.

I don't want anything to do with Brandon Spikes and I hope that they look at Stingly as a starter I would hate to waste another 1st round pick on a Guard. Pollard and Leon Washington should be resigned I expect Verner to be Tagged. If CJ is cut Ben Tate should be a guy to look at he'd be a nice back to have with Shonn Greene. I don't expect us to be as active in Free Agency as last year we signed 3 guys out the gate but still very excited to see who Whis an staff bring in to help this team

I would LOVE it if we could land Toby Gerhart. I'm a Stanford fan so there might be some bias here, but to me, he is one of the most underrated running backs in the league. I think he'll really shine if he gets an opportunity to be a feature back.

Karlos Dansby, Greg Hardy, resign Pollard & Malcom Jankins.
I hate to do this, but I would let Vern walk. a DL can make an good CB look great with consistent pressure on the QB.
I would sign Jenkins for schme flexibility. The man can play safety & corner & he will fit in press man bump & run scheme. & will cost half of what we will have to pay Vern.
