Broncos Cap Update

Including all draft selections accounted for and a current bid for OL Jeremy Zuttah

The Broncos are $4.309m under the rule of 51 cap.

In 2015 including all signings and Von Miller's option year at $9.8m utilising a $143m total cap number.

Broncos are $30.8m under the cap with 31 players contracted. More than enough to look at extensions for Demaryius Thomas, Julius Thomas, Terrance Knighton, Chris Harris, Danny Trevathon and Orlando Franklin and still be active in Free Agency circa 15.

Dont think we'll be trading up unless it's exceptional value for the team and tbh I dont think Mosley is all that given his injury history, think he'll fall like a brick in the real draft.

In terms of draft needs, I'm thinking a MLB, some youth on the OL and a corner.

MLB we have three very average guys competing for the starting job and it's clearly our weakest point on the roster. We should nab Mosley if he falls to 31, and if not maybe look at a guy in rounds 3-4 to compete with Fletcher, Sharpton and Irving.

CB we have DRC entrenched as the #1. Browner will be the #2 starter but he's suspended 4 games and the wrong side of 30. For backup we have a pretty average Josh Wilson and the unknown Kayvon Webster so it wouldn't hurt to add somebody else.

OL might be the biggest need though. We still have Franklin at LG and Clark at RT. That may be okay but it's not a perfect solution imo. If we can get a Guard like Sua-Filo or Yankey then move Franklin to RT and keep Clark as a swing man that would be a great move imo. Also maybe look to bring in a center in the mid rounds since Ramirez will be 32 and a free agent after this season.

Lastly maybe a developmental DE that can rush the passer to learn from Peppers and Allen?

Pretty good deal getting Babineaux for $1.25m, he just re-upped for 3yrs in Atlanta for $9m.

An unknown in Kayvon Webster? I thought he played pretty well for a rookie last year.

We have a trade offer for 31. I'll post when we are OTC cos it is dependant on a player being there for the other team.
