Amazing news in my opinion, we worked out De'Anthony Thomas today.

Apparently a 6th or 7th rounder at this point? Id take him easily then, even 5th would be great Id think. Add a ton of explosiveness on offense and on special teams if needed (though obviously we have Hester now)

I may be late to the party when it comes to this as well..

Supposedly the Titans are expected to be cutting Chris Johnson sometime soon and that we are supposedly going to be "in the running" for his services. Saw it on Rotoworld and supposedly that comes from La Canfora.

http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nfl/285775/titans-expected-to-release-cjk-next-week

Anyone else heard about this? What is everyones thoughts?

cut jackson osi and maybe even Baker? What would that do? We prob only need another 4 or 5 mill to pay him this year.

Im fine with cutting jackson and OSI for chris but not baker. Give baker another year because we are still thin at tackle.

Atlanta has plenty of cap room to sign CJ2K if they wanted to. I doubt they do though. It's just speculation from a Tennessee beat writer.

We have a little less than 9 million, assuming we stay t 6, i believe the draft will be around 5-6 million. How is that plenty of cap?

A source with knowledge of the situation tells Profootballtalk.com the Falcons have "no interest" in Chris Johnson.

especially since DeCoud's contract opens up another 4.2M on June 1. So you really only need to make sure you have 2-3M, not 10.

Not to mention they could easily free up more cap room if they wanted/needed to.

But thats not what you said. You said we have plenty of cap room, we dont. We could make some of course, but again, thats not what you said. And 2-3 mil is not enough to sign Johnson even if we were interested.
