According to Jim Wyatt Titans beat writer who's well respected and reliable sees Chris Johnson ending up with Atlanta.

There's multiple links but I'm not too sure how to quote them here.

Seems like he's just speculating. I would take it with a grain of salt. I don't see it. I love me some CJ tho.

Houston signed Clemons for $2.7M over two years. I would have loved to see him come to Atlanta at the price, but TD must have other plans in mind to address the need at safety. Lots of good safeties who should be available on day two.

Clemons was just as bad as Decoud, I'm glad we passed.

Not sure if this has been talked about already here on our boards.. but I just saw this article on The Big Lead about ranking the teams by "skill position" players.. and they ranked us #1. It's nice to see a national publication giving our Falcons some due.

Quote:
#1 Atlanta Falcons (Julio Jones, Roddy White, Steven Jackson, Tony Gonzalez, Jacquizz Rodgers): When you are this good, you are experienced, not old. Jones has flashed enough potential in his first two seasons to think he could join the game’s best receivers

I'm about as big of a DeCoud fan as anyone here, but Clemons is a better tackler. I'm hoping we bring back DeCoud and draft a safety on day two to compete.

I did mention I wasn't sure if anyone had seen it yet.. so it looks like the answer to that is that I'm the only one who hadn't seen it yet. Great move, coors. Great move.

I'm usually late to the party.. certainly not the first time. Brick wall

If a vet isn't signed, I'd much rather see TD draft a safety in the second.

Id love to see Jimmy Ward or Deone Bucannon in the 2nd, maybe Bucannon in the 3rd if he makes it there and we havent taken one in the 2nd. Both were on the Senior Bowl team we coached, so it wouldnt surprise me.
