Outside FA
I think coach Zimmer will make an impact in FA I think he'll go defense in FA

1. Alterraun Verner CB - Titans 5yr 32mil
2. Michael Johnson DE - Bengals 3yr 20mil
3. Pat Sims DT - Raiders 2yr 5mil
4. Michael Boley LB - Bengals 1yr 1mil

2014 Draft
With the top 3 QB's gone we find ourselves in a situation. Do we draft the BPA reach on a QB or trade down? I take the trade down route as we trade with the Cleveland Browns who are desperate right now for talent to energize their fan base as they take Sammy Watkins from Clemson. In the trade we get their 1.26 2.35 and 3.83

1 .Derek Carr QB - Fresno State
2. Calvin Pryor FS - Louisville
2. Lamarcus Joyner CB - Florida State
3. Gabe Jackson OG - Mississippi State
3. Christian Jones ILB - Florida State
3. Daniel McCullers NT - Tennessee
4. Aaron Lynch DE - South Florida
5. Aaron Murray QB - Georgia
6. Storm Johnson RB - UCF
7. Marcus Williams CB - North Dakota State

Depth Chart
QB. Cassel Carr Murray
RB. Peterson Asiata Johnson

I like the picks you made in the draft and the players we sign in free agency. But I believe it's too bold. I don't see the Vikings landing that many tier 1 FAs, and that's a lot for the Browns to give up. I could see them trading into the mid first to land Mike Evans, if they go the Manziel route, but going all the way up to 8 is a big leap.

It is a big leap but the Browns also have a ton of fire power, I think it is possible. Trading the 1st, 2nd and 3rd would still leave them with a 3rd,4th,4th,5th,6th and 7th + the two top 10 picks.

This pretty much nails my ideal off-season...I think it is realistic, and hits all of our big needs via FA and the draft...I would be ecstatic if this is how it goes down...that said, I would like to see us find a way to keep Jared Allen and/or Kevin Williams...otherwise, well-done young padawan Very Happy

Thanks for the feedback the reason I feel like the Vikes could land both Johnson and Verner is their ties with our coaches so it's a possibility. Also if Cleveland does go Johnny football I could see them going either trying to trade up for Watkins or Evans since he knows Evans and their is chemistry. I think the browns owners are going to be desperate and aggressive to compete.

Thanks I was torn between keeping K Will or adding Sims and just felt Sims was the better fit. Also I feel like K Will has the best chance coming back more than Allen if I did mock it out like that. Again thanks for the feedback!! Very Happy

Think I'd rather resign griffin and pass on Johnson, also really hoping we get Isaiah Crowell instead of Storm, other than that I'm really loving this mock.
