I don't see that at all. I think thats a horrible fit with our locker room and harbaugh. I think we are going to draft a guy, i'd be a little surprised if we really do anything with wide receivers in free agency. I have been wrong before though........a lot lol.

THough it's all whatevz, I would prefer to keep our draft targets private. You know there are overzealous dudes spying in and getting ready to jump picks if we mention their precious targets. Let me know if you want the # code list I have put together, so we can more openly discuss in here... and I will send it to you.

We can wait till #30... can discuss now or up until our pick. If no mentions, I'll just pick a prospect 3/4 way into our draft-slot.

I do, talented player available late in free agency which will be a low risk, high reward type of move. If he acts up, we release him. If he plays well, it will be a steal.

That's the place where we differ; I just no longer see the talent.

If we stay at 30, I'm looking at the following guys (no order):

019
022
010
028
023
015
029

I also have a weird fascination with 024.

I don't have the same fascination, but the value of 024 would sure be worth consideration.

I don't tend to follow a strict discipline in BBs for mocks anyway... just a random comment there.

I like all of the options listed here. Seems impossible that a very good option won't be available at 30.

To me, I think he has the best intangibles of all the guys at the top of his position. His game is good and like you, I have him rated above another guy who is expected to go much higher than 024, but whether that game is good enough to be successful at this level is another story. He's got some kinks to work out.

Are there any options that we may want to move up for? At this current point in time, I really don't see any "ooh, have to have him" type prospects...well, none that wouldn't cause us to break our entire draft bank. I think we are very fortunate that the positions we would be looking at first and foremost in this draft appear to be very deep. Also, trading up seems an impossible task in FFMD...last year we moved up to 18 for a third, when I broached the potential of moving up to a slightly lower spot with a team (and us being one spot higher than we were last year when we made the trade), I couldn't get anywhere without including a second round pick. Apparently, trade value chart is always greater than reality with FFMD.

Same here... doubt that I'd be all that interested. I doubt any prospect I'd consider moving up for would really fall far enough.. and since we didn't bother with FA, we probably want to keep the first 4 picks we have.
