Can we get a Sig bet that linval gets a similar deal IRL Smile

right.

Doesnt matter. We do have hankins. The main reason I wanted to keep joseph is keep that depth on defensive line. Hopefully Jenkins can keep producing at a good level. Tuck is as sure gone in FFMD market.

Voted on the Linval deal?

The mod that said it should be declined before the extension even hit the table.

Seems pretty fishy to me.

dhunt wasn't the only mod that voted on it. This also wasn't made by 1 or 2 mods, there were several votes on the extensions and it was decided against accepting. Your team isn't the first one to get denied and you also have already had 2 accepted proposals.

I understand that but put yourself in our shoes. You see a post from a voter that is already looking to decline the extension before we ever submitted it.

Doesn't that seem a bit off to you?

We'll deal with it as we'll most likely be forced to release him.

If you were really that worried about the comment you should've made a better offer. Without dhunt even in the picture, the extension still fails. It's simple as that.

Right, its all good. We've got players at that position. Linval was just a luxury.

It didn't work out, moving on.

And we're done discussing this. It was discussed, and the overwhelming majority of those involved were not in favor of approving the deal. Let's move on.

Ok, due to the overwhelming support. I will submit to remove the franchise tag on Linval. He will likely go to Talent Agency when that deck is reshuffled.

If we even want to bother with it at this point but there is still a good chance we could land him in the free agency under the same deal.

I officially rescinded the franchise tag on Joseph.

Our Pre-FA Cap is now- $25,037,920.66

NY92J put together on offer on FA target T16, our most voted for target. Please review and see if we want to use that much money on him. If we do, we will submit an offer on the 26th.

I've got a different number than what you've got for our cap figure.

$25,187,920.66

Not certain if I've calculated incorrectly or not. This is what I've got.

Original cap: $15,547,920.66

Paysinger tender: 1.33 million

New: $14,637,920.66

Beason contract: 3M base, 1M bonus

New: $11,057,920.66

Snee release: Removal of $6,750,000.00 base + 50k workout bonus

New: $17,437,920.66

Manning extension: 3 million base + 4.4 sign bonus + 4.75 option bonus

New: $25,187,920.66

Let me know.

Any decisions being made on free agency?

We need to get this figured out soon.

Still waiting for Tier 1 listing to see who will be up on 2/26. I asked for a vote on whether to use the contract listed in Contract Structure on the Big Board for FABB T16.

I vote yes...but we can push the first year higher if we feel we need to but I think the current is a strong offer.

May not be the right place, but whoever is doing scouting double check your film on Dri Archer. He can replace Wilson and then some. Also scout Martevis Bryant. Saw his hands were kinda shaky but he had a strong combine showing... Could be a nice WR for us in the mid-late rounds.
