1. Offensive Coordinator
2. O-Line Coach
3. I don't have a third, I am not very good at scouting.

I'd like to put my name in for Capologist, have been for three years now.

Though as I said in the other thread, I won't be around as much so my other two positions would probably be Water Boy or Shoe Shiner. Still, nice to be working with you again Jay, and congrats.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AtBAqvUZg5wRdGQwYzdNSFVQSXhnaUVvRG5STkhwVFE&usp=drive_web#gid=0

Anyhow, here are some early facts.

1. We have 31.5M in cap space.
2. Subtract the draft cap (for draft picks) and the end cap (breathing space) and we have 20.5M in spending room.
3. Key FAs are Brent Grimes, Randy Starks, and Paul Soliai. Grimes and one of the DTs will take up 15M to 20M of that room.
4. To make extra space, Matt Moore and Dimitri Patterson can be cut to save 4M and 5.4M each for an extra 9.4M.
5. This allows us to get another big time free agent (OT) or shore up some other areas with smaller pickups (RG and LG).

I'm around to offer my opinion.

Starting I agree with Water and think resigning Grimes is a priority and also the fact we should cut both Patterson and Moore for space.

I would try and resign Soliai and Patterson in FA and make a run at trying to sign a LT and Guard in free agency so we can go BPA in draft.

We should be able to trade J Martin.

Resign: Grimes, McKinnie, Clabo (Depth), Incognito

Sign/Draft: Offensive Line

Do not listen to those who believe we would be a better team without Mike Wallace

I think our first order of business needs to be to try to restructure the contracts for Wallace and Patterson. If we can't restructure Patterson, then we should cut him. Wallace we just need to offer the same money left in his current contract but offer him a few more guarantees so he will be open to changing the structure of the contract.

The salaries in these things are always outrageous so we will need as much cap space as possible to resign these guys and still have money for free agency.

Then we need to try to trade or cut Martin.

I would agree. Our first priority needs to be restructuring Wallace. WaterBear56 would you be able to come up with something?

I think we need to cut ties with Matt Moore. We could use his salary and also draft a QB to compete with Tannehill

I am also thinking the same for Patterson. Its $5.4m. He is good but he also can't seem to stay healthy. What does everyone think?

Also positions are up!!!! If there is a position that you want that does not exist ie OC then please let me know we can always add it in.

This is always a fun time and I am glad we can all come together. It will be nice working with the guys from last year and the new comers.
