Thus starts the reign of the greatest staff in FFMD history.

Before we get into the game, there’s some things we need to get out of the way. Yes, there are rules. And yes, you must follow them. As per the usual, all forum rules much be followed. FFMD also has it’s own rules to follow as well. Make sure to brush up on both of these threads if you haven’t done so. There’s a good deal of vital information for FFMD in the second link, and of course we need not have people getting warned and banned over the game.

Vital Threads

FFMD ’14 Rules & Schedule Thread

Talent Agency Thread

Draft Thread

FFMD ’14 General Discussion Threads:

Volume 1

Roles
  • General Manager - iPwn - your fearless Pokémon master. He will make all final decisions, and is in control of everything within the team. However, my opinion is weighed equally amongst the staff, just as any other member, and it's also my job to make sure that everyone's opinion is valued and taken into account before making any decision. Every member's opinions will weigh on the direction that the team is taken

  • Assistant General Manager - - The second in command, who assists in the al areas of the team. He will explore trade options around the league and all trade offers are directed through him to then announce in the war room for discussion. If the GM is unavailable the Assistant GM is able to make draft picks and post UFA bids. Only the GM and Assistant GM have this ability. Becomes the active GM in the absence of the nominated GM.

  • Head Coach - - Has a key part in all decisions, but his focus is mainly on the team itself, rather than looking for trade options, etc… The draft board and player targets should be of importance to him as adding players he views as a fit for his system is critical.

  • Capologist - - Is in charge of maintaining and keeping tabs of the salary information of the team. At all times the team must maintain a budget in regards to the annual revenue the team brings in. The responsibility for correct figures will lie in his hands and an excel spreadsheet for constant updating is usually helpful. A 53 man roster must be maintained as well.

  • Director of College Scouting - - Helps decide needs and works with the national and positional scouts to develop a big board for the draft.

  • President of Player Personnel - - Is responsible for evaluating the team needs (along with the Head Coach), and in developing a Free Agent target list to fill those needs.

  • Director of Media Relations - - Will report to the writers with feedback and information relative to the news of what is happening with the organization.

  • National Scout - - Will evaluate draftable players, across all positions, in order to find players that are both talented and fit the team's scheme.

  • Positional Scout - - Is responsible for scouting specific positional groups and finding players that are both talented and fit the team's scheme. Some of these may be overlap (e.g. LB/LEO)

Please sign up with your three preferred roles, and also any positions your would prefer to scout.

EDIT: If you haven't picked a Pokémon for your sig yet, also list a couple of them. I'll try to get your first choice done up, but some of them don't work as nicely as I'd like.

1. Assistant General Manager - My organizational and strategic skills developed as Commissioner of FFMLB and Chairman of the FFBFNBHOF make me a strong candidate for this position. Also loyalty.

2. Head of Media Relations - I can bring to the table a combinations of site-wide contacts, writing skills, and flair for the dramatic.

3. Capologist - I don't know anything about the NFL Salary Cap. However, Bernie Madoff called me a financial wizard and I think that says something. So I'm sure I could pick it up.

QB, WR, P

I, along with these 3, endorse mission27 for Assistant General Manager.

I tried out Meowth for someone, but it came out too generic for my taste.

I'm pretty sure I'd have the same issue with Persian, where it doesn't deviate from the original colorings too much, but if you're okay with that, I can do that one.

There's like 10 of them.
