Thought I'd one going, so we can have somewhere to talk about the Super Bowl.

Losing super bowls seems to be the specialty of the NFC west ever since the Rams/Pats game. And typically in horrible, gut wrenching fashion. I mean seriously, in the last 12 years or so, look at the heartbreaking super bowls this division has lost. Rams go down to the Pats on field goal as time expired. The seahawks lose to the steelers in which there was a highly questionable touchdown call. Arizona falls to Pitt after taking a late lead and then letting the Steelers march down the field in the final minutes before completing one of the most memorable touchdown passes in super bowl history. The 49ers mount an epic come back last year only to fall 4 yards and fingertips short.

I'll watch it, because my brother invited me over, but I'm not going to hold my pee in. If I need to go, I don't mind missing any action.

I feel filthy for thinking it, but...

GO DENVER. May you crush the souls of Petey Carroll and his wretched minion horde!

Will watch... but won't really enjoy.

Maybe it's all part of the plan. We didn't sign Manning just so he would crush the Seahawks, crush their spirits and send them into a decade long slump.

Careful what you wish for. Once Peyton retires, who knows what he'll choose to do afterwards. Maybe he'll move back to New Orleans, become your neighbor and mow his lawn at 7am on Saturday.

Or maybe he'll set his sights on world domination, after having dominated the NFL.

May Sherman either get picked on all day long and have lots of passes completed against him, or have him give up the game winning TD late in the game. In fact, both would make me very happy.

But if we signed it, it would have been us crushing them, and that's a whole lot better.

The added benefit would have been that Manning could have give Geep, and Greg, and Jim a lesson in how to run a modern passing attack in the NFL.
