First off im not going to act like I am a scout. This is basically guys I liked when watching the senior bowl and last season. I used a player ranking from another site, which we have to keep unnamed, but i dont know how up to date it was.

But here it is...

Free agents leaving

Jared Allen
Chris Cook
Desmond Bishop
Fred Evens
Josh Freeman
Letroy Guion (cut)
Erin Henderson (cut)
Charlie Johnson (cut)
Marvin Mitchell
Joe Webb - makes it all the way until the last round of cuts; in hopes Greg Childs can make an impact
John Carlson (retires)
Toby Gerhart - wish he would stay but he probably wants to get paid a get more touches

NFL Free Agent Pick ups

Michael Johnson, DE, Cincinnati Bengals
Linval Joseph, DT, New York Giants

Draft

Round 2 Pick 40 + Round 3 Pick 95-96 + Round 5 Pick 136
for
Round 1 Pick 25 (San Diego Chargers)

Round 1 Pick 8 - Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Louisville
- I really like this kid, and my dream scenario is that he falls to us at 8
-Some people knock him for not playing as high of a competition level which makes does not sense to me but I added his bowl game highlights which he plays against "Top Level Talent"

• 2013 highlights

• Russell Athletics Bowl vs Miami
o http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9kTkH4Nrg2Y
• Sugar Bowl vs Florida

Round 1 Pick 25 - Zack Martin, G/OT, Notre Dame
- A guy who I thought did very well in the senior bowl, but I heard a lot about him saying they don’t know whether he is a guard or a tackle at the next level, because of that he may fall a little in the first. We trade up to select him as our LG and create one of the best O lines for AP to run behind.

• Highlights vs Alabama
o http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1O_8AeyKEWE

Round 3 Pick 72 - Pierre Desir, CB, Linwood
-Yeah I know a small school kid, but he is 6"2' has good press coverage skills and good ball skills. I was impressed with what I saw during the senior bowl. We need bigger stronger CB's to cover the WR in the NFC North

• Hard to find highlights, this is all I could find

Round 4 Pick 104 - Christian Jones, LB, Florida State
- His play during the senior bowl practice caught my eye. I know, I know, I can't solely judge him off of what I saw him do in gym shorts and uppers but hey it made me go back and look him up. He plays fast, very athletic, and he seems to be a good tackler. Can play both inside and outside linebacker

• 2013 highlights
o http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLhCeWNpuCA

Round 6 Pick 168 - L'Damian Washington, WR, Missouri
- He is an Explosive WR with big-play ability and who will bring that longball threat that norv turner likes.

• Sports center top ten play
o http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GtCN2rkgbUQ
• Vs Texas A&M
o http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kG-tShgiIL0

Round 7 Pick 200 - Walt Aikens, CB/S, Liberty
- This pick is soley because I heard the guys talking good things about him at the senior bowl. They said he did well, so why not give him a shot. Heck its only a 7th round pick.

• Walt Aikens vs Charleston Southern
o http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ieACXaAHHr8&list=PL4IA_itPIQnTnxx-rSweClxqFAHUgexkI

FA- Lorenzo Taliaferro, RB, Costal Carolina
- This pick is addition is because I saw how well he did in the pass blocking portion of the senior bowl, and now I like him, oh and he can catch the ball. But I don’t think he has that elite speed

FA- Connor Shaw, QB, South Carolina (Practice Squad)
- Based on his senior season stats alone. a very good TD to INT ratio

** This formatting set up is very confusing, sorry if it looks weird.

Overall I don't mind it at all. I would change a few things around but I love the Bridewater, Desir & Jones selections. If we're trading back up into round 1, I hope it's not for a OG.

Bridgewater falling to 8 would be way to awesome. Can't see it happening

Same, best case to get him is in a trade up to the #2 spot if the Texans don't snag him (which I would do in a heart beat)

Not a fan of trading up for a guard. Change that pick to a defensive player (Nix, Pryor) and save the OL for the later rounds.
