Will do a bit of cap stuff. Not sure I'll be available full time - but I'm sure someone will fill in a case.

Had a quick look at the rules - will provide some initial ideas soon.
Numbers have yet to be released - so not much preliminary work to be done.

I'll put you down for the cap as there's no one better. Don't worry about the time, I'll fill in if you aren't available. Just need to get a staff going.

If no one else is available then I will take AGM

I may not be able to log on every day so I'll have to be a scout or something similar. But I'm open to helping in whatever unofficial capacity that I can.

All yours.

I'll mark you others down as scouts.

The main thing I'll need is some to look through available players and the asking prices.

We need to get this thing going ...

First things first:

We are allowed to re-sign only ONE player before the FA hit the open market - who should that be?
All other players will go to the Talent agency (the better players, requiring full fledged contract offers) or the Shark Pool (going into a bidding process.

As there is no FFMD player roster out yet, here are the real world FA:

Unrestricted Free Agents
39 Abdullah, Husain (S)
76 Albert, Branden (OT)
73 Asamoah, Jon (OG)
35 Demps, Quintin (S)
43 Gafford, Thomas (LS)
94 Jackson, Tyson (DE)
55 Jordan, Akeem (LB)
23 Lewis, Kendrick (S)
22 McCluster, Dexter (WR)
74 Schwartz, Geoff (OL)
19 Williams, Kyle (WR)
51 Zombo, Frank (LB)

Restricted Free Agents
81 Gordon, Richard (TE)
65 Henry, Ricky (OL)
59 James, Robert (LB)
99 Powe, Jerrell (DT)

As for the RFA I don't see a need to tender anyone. Even if we try to keep Powe placing a 1.39 M$ tender on him would be overpaying severely.

I'll get the OP updated today. Been busy, but no work today so I should knock out most of the draft board today.

Still looking for a Trade Manager if anyone's interested?

As far as resigning I'm going with Schwartz. Fills a starting spot and offers versatility.

Here's what I'm looking at for resigning, in order.

Schwartz
Asamoah
Jackson

I feel Schwartz will be cheaper. The only real plus I have for Asamoah is that he is younger and still improving.

Ok folks,

samsel is still shovelling snow, so I'll kick this one out:

We need a few guys for clearly defined jobs in preparation of FFMD kicking in - for now mostly doing some research on Free Agents.

Any volunteers??

Furthermore: Whom should we try to re-sign? More comments needed!

I don't have a role but I'm more then happy to fill in to get things going here.

I would agree that resigning Schwartz or Asamoah is the best option. Tough to lose Albert for no compensation but I guess that's life.

As for Asamoah being younger and still improving. There is only a 2 year age difference and in terms of games started Asamoah has played 41 compared to Schwartz's 26. Schwartz has more reason to believe he will get better if he plays RG consistently.

I agree that we need to sign one of Schwartz or Asamoah with Schwartz bing my first choice.

The DBs coach would like to add that Husain Abdullah is a MUST re-sign. Demps at a low cost would be acceptable.
