Worked with Dimitroff at New England, so there's an obvious connection. As long as he focuses on repairing our lines and adds extra insight on propects evaluations, I think it's a great hire. Let's see how it turns out.

there are worse options out there. Much their current GM, fix the trenches or get out

Dimitrioli? Anyways, I think it's a great hire. He compliments TD perfectly.

As long as his influence is limited and his input controlled. When he was running the show in KC, he ran the organization like the gestapo. Seriously, there are reports he would go nuts after finding a single candy wrapped in a stairwell.

Isn't Pioli & Dimitroff really good friends? I think I saw it on Hard Knocks?

A lot of War Room talked about their relationship.
Its a good hire. Pioli struggled getting a HC and QB and that's already there in ATL.

Another voice/opinion.. can't hurt.

I wasn't aware we were in the market to find an assistant GM.. didn't know we even had one on our staff.

Do more teams utilize an Assistant GM then I guess I ever realized? Until we signed Pioli, for some reason I didn't really know that this position really existed. If your franchise does have an AGM, what exactly is their specific role usually?

cool little video. You can easily tell that they had a prior relationship before this hire, which we all knew, but it's still cool to see.

Decent hire if it's just for advice. Wouldn't put him in charge of anything. Just glad I don't have to listen to this "expert" on sports shows anymore.

They've known each other since working for the Browns in 1993 IIRC.
