No votes for David or Bowman.

Wow! No votes for Bowman. What a way to hype up a guy who is coming off a bad injury...

What a joke, and sucks that Willis has had better seasons than what Kuechly had better never won the award. Unreal that Bowman got 0 votes.

I really thought that after the pick six to end candlestick that Bowman would win the award easily and agree about Willis.

I didn't think he would win it easily or anything, but would expect at least some votes. Crazy how much he was over shadowed especially when you take into consideration the amount of prime time games we had.

I think people won't give any player on our defense much credit, since it's really stacked. Willis and Bowman are stealing attention off each other. I think Justin had a shot a few years ago. He was just so dominant in 2011, he deserved it more than Suggs, in my opinion. I think the only player who could win it for us would be Aldon, if he broke the sack record and added a few forced fumbles, an INT and a TD or two.

True, and it was just as disgusting as Sherman/Thomas barely getting votes themselves. Seriously, Carolina has a stacked defense as well, but people just don't know any of the names. That DL is the best in the league.

Not that I thought that Bowman had a realistic shot at the award, but wow, what awful voting. Kuechly didn't do anything that Bowman didn't do, so the disparity in their votes is ridiculous. Mathis had a great season; he is also adequate against the run, not great or anything. Quinn was more disruptive in the passing game without being a complete liability in the running game, which should have put him above Mathis, and Watt was probably the most dominant lineman this year all around. Poor David was just overlooked all year and that's unfortunate, because he's a stud.
