Him hanging on to that ball, while his knee had just exploded, without even looking down at his leg. Might very well be the toughest thing I'v ever seen on a football field.

That is a man.

Thought for sure that Bowman had broke his leg so it may sound bad but I'm glad that it's just a torn ACL

I guess the McGahee injury has blinded me because while it clearly looked like there was going to be an ACL tear it just looked like a leg getting rolled up to me.

Wish him the best though.

My thoughts exactly. Nothing like when Santonio Holmes injured his foot and just flipped the football right to the niners. Probably the only time i laughed after seeing an injury.

Sucks they got hurt but that's part of the game. Really like Bowman. Hope he can come back strong.

The Bowman injury was awful. I don't know why, but I felt sick to my stomach after seeing that. (I didn't feel that way after seeing Lattimore's injury or that Louisville basketball player's injury).

I don't know why they showed it like 5 times in slow motion. It was pretty stomach churning

Yes! They showed the replay so many times. Sucks for Bowman to sustain an injury like this at this point in his career but I wish him the best in his recovery.

Last time I checked, being tough doesn't make you anymore of a man. If a women is tough, does that make her "a man"? Machismo at it's finest. I realize it's just an expression but it's a silly one IMO.

But I do agree. That is one tough SOB. He held onto that ball while his knee was exploding.

On another note, can you imigine what he was thinking and feeling with all those players piling up on top of him? Must have been absolutely brutal. He was at the bottom of that like for at least a minute.

I agree about him being tough, not that that toughness makes him anymore or less of a man. Reading comprehension, get some.

I do apologise. I didn't notice how abundantly clear you made it, that you only agreed with only the first aspect of his statement and not the second part. Oh how silly of me.

Good job focusing on what's most important.....

Anyway a lot of guys come back from ACL injuries but I haven't heard how many LBs do returning from such injury.

How will this affect Bowman going forward?

Guy is a machine, how he kept control of the ball after what happened to him I will never know.

Hopefully he can come back, Thomas Davis proved it is possible, and he had multiple injuries.

Rivers tore his ACL in the 07 playoffs. Wonder if there have been any others. Always a terrible time to tear your ACL since you really push the envelope on an early return.

Chris Clemons did his against Washington last year, seems like he wasn't as quick off the snap this year, although he is getting old in football terms.
