I like it, but he has no play calling experience in the NFL.

Ben McAdoo's contract with the Giants will be for two years, per sources. Interesting, since Coughlin's has only one to go.

No play calling experience and no experience with the Erhardt-Perkins offense that the Giants have run since Coughlin and Eli have been there.

Does that mean the Giants will switch to the WCO or will they have McAdoo learn the E-P terminology?

I DEFINITELY didn't mean that. He's 36! RT @DieselCane22: @DanGrazianoESPN possible replacement if Coughlin goes? That's a big jump

I imagine it's going to be a bit of a hybrid.

I like the hiring, has to be a better coach then gilbride but his lack of play calling may hurt
I think once coughlin goes, the giants will either go find someone or maybe promote perry fewell

#screens RT @PFF_Pete: Giants had 99 yds on HB & WR screens this season, 2nd-fewest in NFL. Packers were 4th-most in the league with 528.

Worked a couple years in GB with new Giants OC Ben Mcadoo. Quiet but confident, handled players well, they liked and trusted him.

No. He has always made horrible calls. The fact that Eli seems to move the ball at will when we do 2 minute drills and the fact that he was NEVER given the option to do so...all of those outside runs to Jacobs...people can list even more dumb plays that he ALWAYS CALLED THAT NEVER WORKED AND HE NEVER CHANGED. He's not that great. In theory sure...in practice, no.

One year? Have you been watching... His offense is very bland and predictable. As fans, we knew what play calls were coming since 2010

How can you not bring up the shotgun draw?!

Gilbride is just a horrible playcaller. And he didnt adjust to the times. Redzone offense was awful.

You hate the shotgun draw when you're running it on a regular basis, but when you stop, you realize you miss it.
