Joe Woods and Marcus Robertson are our new DB coaches. Since this is all happening today I would have to assume this is plan B. Both coaches seem decent though. Robertson especially probably knows what Allen is looking for.

Wouldn't mind Allen taking a stronger interest in the DBs either. That is his specialty after all. Doesn't Pete Carroll do that a bit too? I know DBs are his strong suit too as far as positions go.

From what I understand yes. I think now that Olson is settled in and going on his second year. We have Sparano there for OL for 2nd season and 2nd in command. Tarver has two years under his belt now. Finally Allen will have some time to move around where he is needed instead of just putting out fires in every location 100% of the time.

I manage and work in a small neighborhood bar in Montana. I've worked here for about 11 years.
A state where there's no pro sports teams and not even a Div I football team.
So, because of our location we have mostly Denver, Seattle, Green Bay and Minnesota fans in pretty much that order around here.
However I do have a small core of Raider fans, about 10, (I should add, the owner is from Boston!) that hang out here.
Anyway, I'm proud to say that every playoff weekend and every Super Bowl Sunday, even though the Raiders have been irrelevant for a long time, these few fans and I always wear our Raider gear!
While everyone else around here puts their team gear away once they're eliminated and the playoffs start, we're the only fans that show our pride all the way to Super Bowl Sunday every year!
Win lose or tie Raiders till we die!

Don't know if this has been posted elsewhere on the site, but I thought this was pretty neat. Star Wars football helmets based on all 32 teams:

We still have one of the best winning percentages in the NFL. Sure people think about the last ten years but for the 70's 80's and most of the 90's we where very very good. And we can always come back on top.

Cant wait for the day we are relevant again. I cant imagine the amount of bandwagon jumpers we are going to get. Its going to get bad. Laughing

So Mike Lombardi is out in Cleveland. Wasn't he employed by the Raiders in the past? Is he worthy of a management position?
