I remember having one of these threads for random stuff that probablly dont deserve their own thread, but when I go to look for it, the last one I could find was from 2012. So anyways, heres a solid spot I guess for random stuff.

Ill start it off with this:

http://fansided.com/2014/01/14/oakland-raiders-lowest-local-television-rating-nfl/

Oakland Raiders had lowest local television rating in NFL

Quote:
When you think of the Oakland Raiders, a lack of fans doesnt come to mind. But for the third straight season, the Raiders found themselves as the lowest ranked NFL team in regards to local television ratings, this according to Sports Business Daily.

If I'm allowed, I'd like to borrow your thing here:

Mount Davis

is a "Safety Hazard"

Sooooo, our cheerleaders are suing us? Jebus....all they do is shake them tig ol' bitties & squirm those meaty cheeks around for drunk fans & they do this? BACK IN THE KITCHEN! Laughing

Nah, but seriously if it's true that we paid our eye candy only $5/hour I'm with them. A job is a job, pay them.

http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/least-one-team-start-mark-sanchez-quarterback-2014-171518721--nfl.html

Quote:
The Post quoted a coach saying if Sanchez is cut by the Jets (and that seems to be the most probable outcome), he could be his team's starter as soon as he signed.

Wed take Sanchez, the coach said, according to the Post. Hed be the starter as soon as he walked in the door for us.
Let's assume that wasn't a coach from Green Bay, New Orleans or Denver with that quote. But teams like Jacksonville, Cleveland, Minnesota or Oakland might view Sanchez as a viable option, at least as a veteran bridge to their quarterback of the future that they'd draft in May.

Shocked

who do you think the team is?

I'd guess Jacksonville. Cleveland doesn't even have a coach so it can't be them. I don't think it was DA, because since when is he all chummy with the press? I doubt it was Zimmer since he just got hired, but maybe it was him due to not being impressed by the guys he inherited. But the team with Gabbert and Henne? Possible.

Quote:
In the Oakland Raiders locker room, 80 percent of the anonymous players surveyed said they would play in the Super Bowl with a concussion, while just 40 percent thought the NFL was committed to player safety.

Figured we would sign someone Senior Bowl week. Hope we get one soon. Maybe they are waiting for some low level guy from SEA or DEN.
