Buccaneers have requested permission to speak to Giants director of college scouting Marc Ross for vacant GM spot.

Quote:
Ross was up for a handful of GM jobs last year. Now a shot in TB. Joins the previously reported Chris Ballard, Lionel Vital as candidates.

Must be a Florida thing! I'm told the Dolphins have also requested permission from the Giants to talk to Marc Ross about their GM opening

I hope someone takes him . Here are some reasons
Rhett Bomar
Ryan Nassib
Darell Scott
Ramses Barden
Travis Beckum
Mitch Petrus
McCants
Marvin Austin
Ryan Kehl
Philip Dillard
Adrien Robinson
Tracy
These are some reasons why we have 0 depth anywhere on our team.reese is also to blame. Along with there offense there player development is broken too

I blame half of them on stupid drafts, the other on coaching not giving an opportunity

Who knows how those guys would have played out...people thought Jerrnigan was done for and look what he showed if he got a little playing time. Some is coaching, but im sure Ross has alot of blame too.

He was still in the running for the Bucs job as of the other day.

All indications right now it's Jason Licht vs. Marc Ross for that Bucs GM job. Tampa very impressed with both.

Rhett Bomar
Ryan Nassib Future trade value if he develops.. ala pats with matt cassell/ryan mallet
Darell Scott I liked Darrell..just couldnt stay healthy or hold onto the ball. When in space no one could catch him.
Ramses Barden IMO not given a great chance/coached up well enough..had a great game against CAR and then what happened?
Travis Beckum
Mitch Petrus Pretty good find
McCants
Marvin Austin I think this too was a good pick..cant help prevent a torn pec
Ryan Kehl Decent special teamer
Philip Dillard
Adrien Robinson I think perhaps we will find out this year with him
Tracy I like Adrian alot. Wish he were still here. Just like i wish Wallace Gilberry were still here but now hes tearing it up somewhere else..(KC)

So we have a back up plan in case he's hired?

I would imagine we would promote Kevin Sternfield who is the Director of Pro Personal (yes, I just looked that up). He is currently our #4 man.

Bucs hired Licht. So we are keeping Ross unless he goes to MIA. But I don't think he's interviewed there, yet.
