Oh boy, the Colts vs Patriots in the playoffs? Gosh, haven't seen this matchup before Laughing

I think this game matches up much better for us than Denver. NE has the 30th ranked run defense, so we might be able to establish some sort of ground game, which could really open things up for TY and the other receivers down field.

NE's 4 losses were all fairly similar.
- In 3 of 4 losses, opponent rushed for 100+ yards. (Dolphins had 89 yards in week 15)
- in 3 of 4, opponent passed for less than 210 yards. (Dolphins had 289 in week 15).
- All 4 losses - Opponent was either even or in the + side of turnovers.

Should be somewhat obvious. Establish run game, don't turn the ball over, and score TDs not FGs.

Wait, who am I kidding? Pep Hamilton is our play caller, so.....

Chuck it and pray our defense doesn't get too tired from short drives.

Patriots are favored by 7.5 in early lines

Just run it down their throats with heavy doses of play action

This game we should run the ball and play action. I expect fleener to have a big game.Bill will scheme to stop T.Y so brazzil and whalen need to have big games as well. I think the colts win 31-28.

I can see Whalen having a good game. Fleener will probably be accounted for, along with TY and maybe Brazill, but I think the gameplan will be to force Whalen or one of our lower string WRs to beat us. If we run effectively or use 3-4 WR sets, I could see Whalen being the guy uncovered.

Looking forward to a good game here for the team. Think it's going to be a close game, fingers crossed that we win it.

Just wanted to stop by and say congrats on knocking the Chiefs out, awesome game, awesome comeback. Luck is a great young QB. The Pats DBs will have their hands full. I like the matchups from a Pats perspective on both sides of the ball, but anything can happen in the playoffs. If Indy wins this weekend, I'll be a Colts fan the rest of the way.

^^ these two posts back to back are hilarious. A pats fan sincerely giving Indy props and wishing them luck vs us and rest of way...followed by a Indy fan stating how much he hates Pats fans...haha the irony

http://www.colts.com/team/injury-report.html

Colt's first injury report posted from yesterday

DHB (hamstring) and Franklin (rest) DNP

Khaled Holmes (calf) limited practice

Landry (concussion) McNary (concussion) full practice

apparently Walden head tapping on Landry wasn't worse for the wear.

No they are not but I'm working in the heart of boston this year. You should hear and see the stuff they say. People have even gone as far to say we are like the Tebow 9-7 broncos. They truely believe it to.

Good to see Landry's concussion wasn't too severe. Would have been really bad if we were completely without him this game.
