Qbs guru in college. Interesting hire. We will see how he works out as an nfl play caller.

I've read/heard from a few different places that the Glazers really like what they have in Glennon. I could see us adding a guy in the 4th round but as far as adding a vet or fa qb might not happen.

Was this Lovie's hire or the GMs?

I see it as being Lovie's hire.

Interesting article from a few years ago on Tedford's offence with some nice insight by Trent Dilfer. We seem to have the right QB in terms of work ethic if the stories of Glennon working really hard are true.

I can see why they would like him. Showed a lot of potential with crap and has a phenomenal work ethic. He would be a great face of the franchise. Seems like a good guy. And to be honest Glennon is better than any QB Lovie has ever had with the exception of Cutler, and he didnt have as much offensive talent as we do now. Add Sammy Watkins and give Tedford all kinds of weapons for Glennon. Do you have links to articles on this?

I know Lovie wants Marinelli, but I heard someone on here said there was a snag with him getting out of his Dallas contract? Honestly, Marinelli as DC with Frazier as DB coach would be my top choice.

Typically the GM hires the HC and the HC hires his coaches. I would hope this is Lovie's hire. Chris Ballard seems to be a solid GM candidate who gets along with Lovie and has a professional relationship with him. Continuity with the GM and HC is very important and something we should now have.

Link?

There are a few prospects I like on day 2/3 of the draft that have upside.
- Brett smith
- jimmy garrapolos
- Zachary mettenburgh
- Aaron Murray

I see upside with those 4. Murray to me is only lacking height. Has everything else.

I'm interested to hear Tedford and lovies take on Glennon.

Still think the best competition at qb will come from the draft.

I think we're in good hands finally after 5 years of waste management.

If you read the article, there is no substance to the Kiffin rumors, its centered around his relationship w/ Tedford, and the fact that he's Lane's kid. To the best of my knowledge Lovie has never worked w/ Lane, and what I have heard the relationship between Monte and Lovie was tenuous at best.
