With the Eagles looking like they got a keeper in Foles, that likely leads to the departure of Mike Vick. Where do you see Mr. Vick heading to? Does he land a starting job? If you're team needs a QB, would you like to see them pursue Vick?

QB needy teams: Browns, Vikings, Raiders, Jaguars

Maybe: Titans, Rams, Jets, Bears, Texans, Cardinals

Jets seem like the most logical place on account of Mornhinweg... unless he gets fired, which is possible.
I could see him go to KC, but I think he'd balk at the idea of going somewhere with an established starter.

Wherever he goes, I can't see him as a starter at this point. Too injury prone, and just too far past his best.

So as a backup? He could really go to a lot of places, but I could see Seattle as a good destination.

I could see Vick signing with the Jags. At pick 3, the Jags can take a stud defender like Clowney or Barr and a developmental QB in round 2.

Vick gives the Jags a solid stop gap that can make way to a young QB around the half way mark when he is injured.

I think there is little chance that the Vikes would sign Vick, unless Cassel leaves. Cassel is on the roster and can be the stop gap, i am not sure why they would want another stop gap.

The Philadelphia Eagles.

Well he's not going to go anywhere if he can't start - he might as well stay in Philly and do that. He could go somewhere and compete for the job or take over a QB-needy team like the Jags. I think he sits with the Eagles.

He'll be a UFA

Geno is a better QB than Vick.

Maybe as a back-up, but I feel like we would rather go with a vet that is more of a traditional QB. Like Shaun Hill.

Someone will sign him, but I think his starting days are over. His accuracy was atrocious this year in a system that is designed for quarterbacks to make high percentage throws. He's super injury prone, so no team could count on him to start 16 games a year.

The Jets seem like a good landing spot if only because if they load up on some skill position players, they have a chance to potentially try and make some noise in that division next year. The question obviously will be Geno, and if Geno struggles mightily the way that he did at points this year, I don't think there will be any hesitation to bench him unlike this year, and that's the type of situation where I think someone like Vick could be very handy to a team.

Yeah I realized that after the post but I was too slow to the editing draw not to be seen. Razz

I still say he sticks with the Eagles unless there is just a clear cut place for him to start. Some team may pick him up as a veteran to sit or start in place of their rookie QB, but if he knows he's not going to start right away he might as well stay with the Eagles.

That remains to be seen. I feel like if Geno can ever get the mental element of how to play QB in the pros down, he can be better, but he's a long way away from that right now.

Minnesota maybe?

I wouldn't be surprised to see him back in Philly as the backup though.

Wont happen so long as Matt Cassel is under contract. Do you think Cassel leaves?

Well, I don't think Vick has gotten the mental element down and he's a 12-year pro.
