I dont know why people think that Gilbride's issues have just come to surface this year. Hes been called Killdrive for years which tells you a lot.

You adapt to your personnel. Keep Eli in rhythm. We all thought Jernigan was a bust but it turns out he can actually play. Hes not creative, hes predictable and this system is outdated and the personnel is no longer capable of thriving in it. Tell me which offense can can say they have shutout 3 times in 1 year?

Vacchiano is wrong about a lot of things. Probably the worst of the Giants beat writers. Doesn't help he is confrontational to anyone who calls him out for anything.

Tom Rock is really the only guy you need to read. And he's very funny.

Let me give you my personal opinion, on what I think has happened.
It all started with the release of the coke machine in Brandon Jacobs.

I wouldn't mind Chud. I think Sullivan is much more likely to be the guy though.

I would think that this is more of a forced retirement

I'm having a beer, this is cause for celebration. He helped us get 2 rings but it was time.

On a serious note, i do appreciate what Gilbride did for the franchise and did play a part in bringing 2 SBs to NY but it was time. Time to go in a new direction and this better not mean Mike Sullivan - though if he does come then Hakeem may have a better chance of staying because he and Sully are tight.

I hope we can pull someone like Norv Turner or Chud. Coughlin is bound to retire soon so our opening is more juicy than someplace that won't have a HC opening in the next few years.
